Ein Wahnsinnsausblick aus unserem Hotelzimmer über die wunderschöne grüne Stadt Amsterdam + den nächtlichen Sternenhimmel! Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und die Tram hält quasi vor der Haustür.

Tres bien situé comme dit dans les autres commentaires. Le parking est veritablement devant l'entrée de l'hotel, même pas de rue à traverser. L'arret de Tram est à 1 min à pied, ideal. Franchement on a pas été du tout deçu.
La salle de bain est vraiment petite, les wc carrement minuscules. heureusement on y passe pas la journée.

je kunt er rustig werken in de lobby. De nabijheid van het Grand café Tropen
De kamer was sluip door, kruip door. Je kunt je koffers nauwelijks kwijt. Veel herrie in de nacht door dichtslaande deuren. De 2e lift die defect was en na 3 dagen nog steeds defect.

Housekeeping on par with 5-star plus hotels. All staff friendly and helpful. Room was very comfortable with a great view. Most importantly the bed was very comfortable and had great sleeps after long work days. The room had lots of windows and very good curtains (privacy & black-out curtains). The bathroom is adequate - not luxurious, but super clean and always loads of fresh towels.

Easy to get to with public transport
There are better located/priced/designed places for sure! Unclean, smokers on the balconies and rude reception. You pay less in most hostels and get more. Separate beds are a given, get ready to argue your way into a double bed.

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage und ist empfehlenswert

Das Bett war gut. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut. Es war alles da, man konnte sich viel aussuchen. Für jeden Geschmack war etwas dabei.
Leider spricht im gesamten Hotel keine Person DEUTSCH !!

员工服务意识真心不怎么样！提前联系了early check-in，无烟房，单人大床，没有任何反应，多次联系均无任何回复。到了，一样都没有解决。 Check out的时候也完全无序，前台连代收邮费寄post card都搞不清，办了一半又去找前面的人要邮费，如果不是人家来改地址就没收。完了把我晾在那里，被插队- 还说自己很busy

The location is close to to a tram station. Walking to the city center is about 30 minutes. The park next to the hotel is excellent for family walks.
Although clean, the rooms are tiny and the building looks like a bunker (looks even worse being next to the Tropen Museum -- very nice building). The cost seemed slightly unreasonable high for what you get. Staff is nice and helpful. The free Wifi is very slow! The mattresses are old spring types and the radiator heaters respond very slow (if at all, ours didn't seem to work).

Uitzicht over het Oosterpark. Centraal gelegen en toch heel stil. Ook in het hotel heel stil, hoewel volgeboekt. Badkamer modern en clean. Bed: goede kussens,ligt lekker. Kingsize TV Parkeerterrein heeft ruim voldoende plek, ook in de herfstvakantie lang niet vol.
Meubilair en vloerbedekking is aan een update toe., Daar werd aan gewerkt, gezien een grote Icova bak met oude spullen op het parkeerterrein

Het tropenhotel staat voor ons boven aan de lijst als we weer naar Amsterdam gaan.

Het ontbijt voldeed aan al onze verwachtingen. uitgebreid en goed verzorgd. Gelegen aan een rustgevend Oosterpark en goede verbinding met de tram naar het centrum.
