Avenue is a 3-star hotel situated in Amsterdam, only 350 metres from Amsterdam Central Railway Station. It features free Wi-Fi, a 24-hour reception and a breakfast buffet. Another great stay at the Avenue Hotel

I've stayed at the Avenue Hotel on many occasions in the past and always enjoy staying at the hotel. It's located nearby to Amsterdam Centraal Station and to Damrak. It's a good part of the city to be located in because it allows you easy access around the city to visit the many sights and attractions.

The hotel is was in an ideal location. We were not disturbed by any noise from within or outwith the building. The premises were clean and the staff very friendly and keen to help whenever needed. I was particularly impressed with breakfast. The choice was excellent and despite having food allergies the hotel kitchen were able to accommodate me more than adequately. We will definitely be returning and would reccomend to anyone looking for a good value hotel in the heart of Amsterdam.

Very noisy corridors with other guests, walls are thin so hear most things especially some very noisy guests talking at 3am, fortunately the reception staff dealt with very quickly

Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Die Ruhe trotz zentraler Lage war sehr angenehm.
Steile Treppe im Appartment war hinderlich für die eine gehbehinderte Begleitperson, weil das Bad im Obergeschoß ist.

Ótima localização bem próximo a estação central de trens com fácil acesso a alguns pontos turísticos, lojas e bons restaurantes. Café da manhã muito bom e equipe muito prestativa no auxilio das solicitações e informações. O Hotel também favorece a compra de passeios e entradas em museus não sendo mais caro por isso. Bicicletas disponíveis para locação a um bom preço. Voltaria a ficar lá.

Location was brilliant. We didn't like the room we were offered but without hesitation the friendly staff moved us to a better room. The staff were able to tell us the best attractions to visit in our short stay????The breakfast was filling too.

breakfast is excellent , location is wonderful only 300 meters from the central station , close to everything. Staff is very kind and for sure we will come back again this hotel
WIFI connection is poor. many disconnections and we were only on 2nd floor.

I liked the location, it was easy to walk to nearby attractions, we were on the main bus route which we took several times.. The hotel staff were very helpful with suggestions and sold tickets for entrance to museums. Breakfast was included and it was nice to have hot and cold choices. Beds were comfortable.
We stayed for one week, the fire alarm went off three times, twice in one night, all false alarms. It was loud when people returned from the bars and the smell of cigarette and pot smoke was evident in our room even though we do not smoke. There was a pile of garbage in front of the hotel but it seems to be the way it is handled in Amsterdam as it was everywhere and it got picked up each night which was also noisy. I would probably stay further away from the city center next time. The hotel seemed to be for younger people who are into the night scene and partying.

Great location and staff but .....

It's location is really near of the Main Street of Amsterdam and the staff were kind and helpful and has air condition
The rooms is abit tiny and the wifi to the room I was in. is abit slow for gaming to continuos streaming so got to go to lobby to have high speed wifi

The location,and the breakfast was good although the fresh fruit in the bowl was always a bit mushy.
You's could have read the message I sent when booking saying it was a special trip for my husband and I as we both turned 60 .Instead it was when we were leaving that the receptionist mention it.......not good.We also asked for an early morning call on the first day and never got it.I asked again for another early call for the next morning and guess what ......we never got it.Also the first room we were given was right beside the lift and as I explained that we were both light sleepers they moved us only thing was it did not have a bath and it was a lot smaller.Still enjoyed Amsterdam but would have liked a better room.
