B&B De Hofnar has two locations: you can find our main building at Keizer Karelplein and our second location at Capucijnenstraat. The Keizer Karelplein is next to the Vrijthof and Capucijnenstraat is a 5-minute walk. Location is due to availability. Both locations offer free WiFi. Decide to wake up with a wholesome breakfast buffet, while admiring the view of the well-known Basilica of Saint Servatius. Breakfast is optional and at a surcharge. With the lively Vrijthof square at a very short walk distance, you can easily explore the historical town centre on foot. Decent, clean, great location. Good value for money.

Good Wifi, 10mbps, capable of streaming Netflix with some initial buffering. Very good location, right in the heart of Maastricht. We ate breakfast with a view on the cathedral. Very nice staff!
Bathroom ceiling has some mold. I'm including the next point purely to inform other travellers, and not so much as a negative feedback point. We took the cheapest room available, and we got a very small room indeed. Just enough space to open the door (which already touched the bed). Still, it has everything you need: wifi, a television, a small sink and a two person bed, so in the end we had some laughs about it. Still, people who prefer a bit more space, are better off spending a few extra euro's here.

Maastricht und das B&B "De Hofnar" passen sehr gut zusammen!

Das sehr freundliche Personal hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das B&B "De Hofnar" wird liebevoll geführt. Unser Zimmer war groß - inkl. Bad. Auch hier alles topp! Der Blick war auch sehr schön (siehe Fotos). Absolut topp ist die Lage. Man ist mitten im Zentrum. Auch das Frühstück war für diese Preisklasse ein Hammer. Wir würden in Maastricht immer wieder das B&B "De Hofnar" buchen.

Leuke locatie! Prima manier van ontvangst bij geen personeel.
Jammer dat bij een bed and breakfast je extra moet betalen voor het ontbijt. Je zou denken dat dat erbij inbegrepen zat. Ook waren de bedden wat te hard en roken de gordijnen erg muf. Die hadden wel een keertje gewassen mogen worden.

Great location - great value for money

The location is almost unbeatable. The shared bathroom and toilet were clean so that was no problem. Noise wise I wouldn't know, because I always sleep with earplugs. Had a good stay. Would stay there again and would recommend.
The parkinglot is far away. Like 10 minutes walk away. But it's way cheaper than the public parking garage around the corner. So if I had to choose I would still use the far away parking.

Ontbijt is gewoon okee. Graag volgende keer lekkere dagmelk, geen u.h.t. melk. En karnemelk. Ook graag de jus en melk gekoeld serveren. Geweldige plek in de stad. Prettige b&b. Parkeren ook vlakbij geregeld.

Wij hadden een mooie, propere kamer met een balkon. Zicht op de binnenplaats met een groene klimopmuur en geen inkijk in de kamer. De B&B ligt pal in het centrum wat natuurlijk ideaal is.
Er waren geen verduisterende gordijnen en slecht geïsoleerde muren en ramen waardoor je andere gasten en de werken van enkele straten verderop duidelijk kon horen 's morgens vroeg. We hadden ook beiden nekpijn bij het opstaan dus ook de hoofdkussens vielen tegen.

Central location but quiet Hotel. My single room was very small but very comfortable and clean It had a big window I could open wide for fresh air and looked out onto an ivy covered wall. Although the toilet and shower were shared it didn't seem to matter. Instructions to get there were easy to follow
The stairs squeaked and the noise echoed but what can you expect in an historic building.

La ubicación. La habitación con vistas directas a la catedral. Vistas impresionantes.
La habitación enana con muy poca movilidad para los dos, sin espacio para el equipaje. Una de las ventanas no se podía abrir porque chocaba contra la pila.
