PLEASANT SURPRISE

We intended to stay in central Amsterdam and did for the most part but got caught on a holiday weekend and weren't prepared to pay three times the usual rate. This alternative worked out really well as we visited Haarlem and biked (rentals) from there to the beach. A great and economical day on the advice of hotel staff. Airport shuttle and train to Amsterdam were easy.
Channel choices were limited and the guide very inefficient to a North American eye. There are two Bastion hotels claiming connection to the airport. We were at the Bastion Budget. Make sure you know where you are booking.

The location is near the airport, very convenient for early morning departure. Wifi in the restaurant is very ok and free welcoms drink (wine)
Door locked in the evening. Need to ring the bell. Very standard room, just champoo and soap in the bathroom.

Nearest to airport.
We was traveled to eight countries in Europe for 3 weeks and have stayed in 11 hotels. All the hotel staff treated us very well, friendly and very civilized except when staying at Bastion Hotel Amsterdam Airport, Amsterdam. It's very frustrating because this was the last hotel we stayed at in Europe. One of the female staff at the reception counter named Ela (not sure whether her real name). She was very rude and disrespectful to us as a guests upon check-in on the evening of October 13, 2016. we can feel the way she treated us like she was underestimating us.

Prima hotel voor of na een reis!

Kamers prima, ontbijt goed,maar meer ook niet. Vriendelijk personeel. prima vervoer van en naar Schiphol. Relaxed begin van onze reis...paar dagen ervoor pas geboekt ivm afsluiten A1 en niet rijden van treinen in het weekend.
Niks eigenlijk...we hebben hier al vaker overnacht voor een reis.

Na relação preço/qualidade/localização é excelente.

A localização é excelente para quem necessite de dormir uma noite antes ou depois de viajar via Schipol na Holanda. Os funcionários muito prestáveis e simpáticos. O serviço de transporte de e para o aeroporto de Schipol.
A higiene no quarto deixa um pouco a desejar com móveis um pouco sujos e com marcas de utilização anterior. O colchão um pouco macio para o meu gosto fez com que fosse uma noite mal dormida.
