Don't Stay Here!!

The bed was ok.
Front desk staff didn't know anything. Couldn't give any directions, to restaurants, downtown, nothing. Breakfast was poor. No forks, no coffee, scrambled eggs finally arrived. English muffins were poor quality. Not enough room in dining area. People standing. Took hard boiled eggs out of frig and they were frozen solid. Breakfast uninviting. Towels in room were thin, cheap. Had to go down to first floor for ice machine. Not enough newspapers at front desk. Room was old and tired. Needed redo. Maid didn't replace nearly empty toilet paper roll. This was not the quality I expected from Fairfield Inn.

I was booked at the Courtyard but after a very long day and drive across the state I arrived to find that there was no room and was sent to this Fairfield "Inn". I was traveling on business and came to town a day early so I would be fresh the next day. The stay at the Fairfield was not refreshing. The room was musty, the furnishings were old and had been jimmy rigged to stay together. No one cared. I was even given a dirty look when I realized I forgot my toothbrush and asked the front desk for one. The property needs serious work and a smoking area needs to be moved away from the entrances. I am getting ready to go on a two week trip next month and will not even look at the Marriott brand when I book my rooms.

Husband and I called at midnight after a long trip for a reservation. Guy at desk said he couldnt do one because he was in the middle of his night audit, to just come in. We arrived and he told my husband he'd have to wait because he wasnt done yet. It was 1 am. We had to find another hotel. Never experienced this before, husband is Marriott member and we always stay at Marriott hotels. Guy at the desk didn't try to accommodate us at all, simply blew us off.

This is the worst Fairfield I've ever stayed in!! Tiny room, smells musty.....it's 90+℉ outside and the pool is closed!!! Says for renovation. Doesn't appear to be having any work done on it. We are good members, and have been stuck in the room behind the elevator and beside the mechanical room. Really???? This is how they treat their gold members?

My family and I had the worst experience with this hotel. Where do I start?? My sister in law had to be moved because once they got into their room the air conditioner didn't work. In her new room her fridge wasn't working properly and the knob to adjust the temp was missing. My in laws had air conditioner problems too, so they gave them a fan to use. My bro in law and his family were getting into their beds and when he pulled the sheets back there was blood soaked through the sheets . Finally, our room had fridge problems and I had bed bug bites. Oh and the pool has been closed for 2weeks, but they don't tell you that when you reserve a room. This was the worst hotel experience. We will NEVER stay here again.

THERE IS A TRAIN RUNNING JUST OUTSIDE THE WINDOWS! Made reservation for 2 double beds, got there and they changed it to one king and were fully booked (I did not arrive until 11:00 pm but had made reservation previous day) so could not change it. No apologies or anything, just, "well, there is a sleeper sofa in there". 4 people in one bed and sleeper sofa did not work well for the sleeper sofa ones. they had no pillows (yes NONE) in the hotel for the sofa bed. had to go get sheets and blankets. They told us to roll up blanket and use for pillow, but they only had 2 blankets. I am Marriott gold member, this hotel is not a Marriott, or at least should not be. Very disappointed and made a long day traveling worse.

Do not stay at this hotel. It is not comparable to other Fairfield Inns. The hot tub/spa is no longer working, the room was dirty and in need of updating, the elevator was a mess (sticky floors), ice cream spillout side by pool (ants everywhere)...the list goes on. If it wasn't so late when we checked in, we would have left and found another hotel. I am convinced that any positive review for this hotel must have been planted by an employee. I really feel Marriott might need to revisit putting their name on this hotel.

I had the worst experience at the Fairfield Inn and Suites. There was feces on the toilet and hair in the shower. The floor was clearly not sweep or vacuumed. The employee (female, day shift) I called about the situation lied and told me she would handle it and was not on duty There was also a train in feet of the hotel. However, Brandon the guy at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful.

““STAY AWAY....terrible”” I just want to start off by saying that when I first walked into the room there was a disgusting odor that almost knocked my nose off the floors and damp the staff were very unprofessional playing around in the lobby screaming and acting the fools the manager comes to work with tight pants showing off her stuff just don't care. Not up to Marriott Standards please don't stay here it would be a waste of your time waste of your money and you may even just get ate up by all the roaches sorry I have nothing good to say about my unpleasant unprofessional stay from a travel agent perspective words can not express.... (4 days of horror cant see how I lasted that long.)

The hotel was nice and even the complimentary breakfast was satisfying. However, DO NOT take a room on the back side of the hotel. There is a train track within feet of the hotel and if you are on the back, plan on hearing it (the horn) all night long. Our friends that were there also had rooms on the front and did not hear the trains. The attendants were going to move me to the front but no rooms were available so I had to hear the train for 3 nights.
