Hotel-restaurant Geertien is located by the water between the Weerribben and the Wieden, only 7 km from Giethoorn. It features a water-side sun terrace and a restaurant offering international and traditional Dutch cuisine. The rooms are equipped with a modern interior and contain a 42 inch TV with satellite channels, and free Wi-Fi. Some of the rooms offer lake views. Each has a private bathroom with a shower and bath, as well as free toiletries. The property includes 2 restaurants which use fresh seasonal products to prepare the menu. Das Essen war sehr gut, aber auch recht teuer. Wenig unter 10€ für den kleinen Hunger.
Die Sauberkeit im Zimmer war miserabel. Im Bad nicht gewischt. Haare lagen herum. Staub auf den Nachtschränkchen. Personal nicht besonders freundlich. Bedienung unaufmerksam.

Prachtige ligging met mooi terras aan het water tussen kleine fruitboompjes. Het hotel bleef daarbij achter....wat verouderd/muffig. Prima om een dag te verblijven maar niet om te slapen. Het cafégedeelte is gezellig.
De kamers zijn verouderd en wat muffig met uitzicht op een containers. Past niet bij het buitensfeertje.

Location bellissima, su un canale, con possibilità di cenare all'aperto come abbiamo fatto noi arrivando in serata.WIFI buono.
Camere calde senza aria condizionata ma con la presenza di un ventilatore a piantana oltretutto che non ruota! Comunque siano riusciti a dormire bene.
