This 4-star hotel is a 5-minute walk from Megaro Mousikis Metro Station and 2 stops from the historical and shopping centre of Athens. It offers soundproofed rooms with satellite TV. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. The elegant rooms at the Golden Age are fully air conditioned and have black-out drapes. They all include an in-room safe. Booking.com advertised airport shuttle...(thought they had their own)....taxi way to go.....

Location was perfect for me, close to the Airport metro line f.ex. The staff is very professional and committed. Balcony is always a plus!
Food was not great, especially breakfast is almost bad, and restaurant ordinary. Facilities are bit old and worn out, but my room functioned perfectly and had a cosy atmosphere.

Φοβερή εξυπηρετιση απο το προσωπικό, ιδιαιτερα στο πρωινό και στο lobby... Απλα καθησα στο τραπεζακι να μιλήσω στο τηλ. και μου εφεραν ποτηρι νερό, όπως και στους υπολοιπους που καθόταν γυρω μου!!! Δυσκολα το βλέπεις αλλου!! Νερό στο δωματιο δωρο.. Μπαλκονάκι!! Πολυ καλή ταχυτητα wifi Ωραιο πρωινο
Βρυση στη μπανιέρα.. θελει λιγο φτιαξιμο (ετρεχε μαζι το ντουζ με τη βρυση), αλλα δε προκαλεσε προβλημα σε καμμια περιπτωση.

Το ξενοδοχείο βρίσκεται σε παρα πολύ βολική τοποθεσια. Πολύ ευγενικό και εξυπηρετικό προσωπικό. Υπάρχουν πολλές διαθέσιμες παροχές. Είναι ένα ξενοδοχείο το οποίο προτιμαμε σε κάθε μας επίσκεψη στην Αθήνα.
Το μόνο αρνητικό νομίζω είναι ο θόρυβος του ασανσέρ. Κάποια δωμάτια που βρίσκονται ακριβώς δίπλα σε αυτό, πιθανόν να ενοχλούνται.

A nice hotel in a tranquil area of Athens

Good location, very close to Megaro Moussikis metro station and just one station away from the Syntagma Square (totally walkable as well). Nice varied breakfast with greek yogurt included. Good sound isolation in the room and helpful staff. Restaurant has an 18 euro set menu (lunch or dinner). Complete amenities set in the bathroom (even a sewing kit!). The area is safe.
Very small elevator. Rooms are not new (had a problem with the shower, but it was quickly fixed). No slippers or bathrobe in the room. No tea/coffee set, just a complimentary bottle of water.
