About Havenhotel Texel

Uniquely situated at the entrance of the harbor of Oudeschild you find Havenhotel Texel. The building which also contains a restaurant and cafe is located in the former headquarters of the Texel Steam Boat Company (TESO). The modern rooms overlook the Wadden Sea or the lively fishing harbor and contain a satellite TV, minibar and tea/coffee facilities. Some rooms include renovated traditional features such as exposed timber beams. Every morning breakfast is served in Brasserie TX from where you have a view on the harbour. At restaurant Eetcafe het Vooronder or on the terraces you can enjoy lunch, dinner and drinks. Guests can relax on the nearby beach, 1 km away or ride on bicycles to the Dunes of Texel National Park.The seaside village of De Koog is only 10 km away.

Please note that between the 6th of November and the 22nd of December 2016, the restaurant and cafe will only be open between 11:00 and 15:00. From the 23rd of December onwards, the restaurant and cafe will be open daily. On New Year's Eve, they are open until 22:00. This hotel does not have a lift which makes it unsuitable for guests with limited mobility. Guests arriving after 18:00 are kindly requested to inform the hotel in advance. Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation. Please note that it is possible to buy a parking vignet for for EUR 15 which allows you to park anywhere on Texel during your stay. Please note that pets are not allowed.

Geweldig uitzicht op de haven van Oudeschild en over de Waddenzee vanuit de zeer ruime hotelkamer.
Uitbaggeren van de haven vanaf 6 uur 's ochtends, maar daar kan het hotel niets aan doen.

Chambre (suite) très confortable, literie parfaite, équipement parfait. Petit déjeuner au buffet très bien fourni. Situation très agréable avec vue sur mer et le port. Proximité (150m) d'un superbe restaurant de classe, le T'Pakhuus, spécialisé dans les poissons et fruits de mer.

La situation au coeur de l'île, à l'entrée et (forcément) à la sortie du port. Le point de vue depuis la salle du petit déjeuner. L'équipement de la chambre. Le parking. L'amabilité du personnel.
L'armoire-vestiaire est ventilée (OK) mais manque de place pour linge-pulls-chemises, etc. C'est pas grave, je dis cela pour remplir la case.

We hebben heerlijk gegeten in het restaurant. Zeer goede kok! Ontbijt was goed, kamer ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. We hadden zelfs twee tv's! Gastvrij hotel op een prachtige locatie.
