Het personeel is vriendelijk. Diner was super lekker, complimenten aan de kok en het ontbijt was ook goed. De eigenaar had door het minpunt van de kamer een fles wijn cadeau gegeven bij het diner. Het stadje Bronkhorst is schitterend en heel sfeervol.
Wij hadden 2 kamers geboekt voor vier personen en kregen een appartement waar we met zijn vieren in moesten. Dus ook 1 badkamer en 1 toilet delen met vier. Het was op zich wel goed maar hadden hierdoor minder privacy. Bij het afrekenen stonden er dingen op de bon die wij niet hadden besteld.

Vantevoren was niet bekend dat we niet in htoel zelf sliepen maar verderop in het straatje in huis waar ook andere gasten sliepen. Badkamer had raam waar je onmogelijk bij kon om te sluiten en raam sloot niet helemaal ( wat jammer was ivm vele muggen). Voor extra bed (incl ontbij dat dan weer wel) werd 30€ extra gevraagd - vantevoren bekend maar behoorlijk bedrag

Leuke kamers met bedstee. Niet voor heel lange mensen want de lengte van het bed was iets van 1,83 meter. Het ontbijt was lekker, met heerlijk brood, nog warm van het bakken. Heerlijke douche ook! Midden in het pittoreske Brockhorst.
Ik vond de keuze voor vloerbedekking wel afbreuk doen aan de 'authentieke stijl'. En het bed in de bedstee was dus wat kort.

Wij komen jaarlijks 1 of 2 nachtjes logeren. Elke ochtend rond 8.30 als we net buiten willen ontbijten gaat de bladblazer bij een van de buurtrestaurants aan. Dat verstoort de rust van de leuke plek.

We hadden een hotelkamer besproken maar kwamen in het appartement terecht. Super groot en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het eten in het restaurant was prima. Ontbijt was ook ruim voldoende.
We hadden een 3-gangen diner, maar moesten apart voor de frietjes betalen. Dat is jammer, want in principe kosten frietjes bijna niets . Maar stond toch op de rekening. Het huisgebrouwde bier was erg lekker....

Bronkhorst is a very beautiful village, or city as they say. We got a room in an annex which was a bit of surprise since that was not announced when we made the booking. It's appr. 40 meters away from the hotel, so not a big deal. But we were happy to get a room with a terrace where we could enjoy some nice evenings. The room were pretty big but could need some maintenance. Breakfast was nice. The price we paid was very good value for money.
I think there is some kind of problem with the management at this hotel. Most of the staff is very young but hardly speaks english and they more or less try to avoid you. When we checked out there were no questions from the staff about if we had enjoyed our stay or anything. We just paid and it was hardly a goodbye. It just felt like they didn't care about us at all. What was also a surprise was that we had to pay a kind of city tax of 3,95€ per night per person. I couldn't find anything on booking.com about this, and it's pretty much to be honest. That should be clear in the info about this hotel.
