The staff that checked us in and out were wonderful.
The bed was so uncomfortable I didn't sleep at all. It was like I was sleeping on a box spring. I also asked to be on a higher level. I was put on the first floor. It wasn't that busy I know there were rooms available.

The showers were too restricted. Had to shampoo hair under tub faucet. Pillows were not comfortable. Bed mattress makes noise getting in and out of the bed

Great pillows and Patsy's Bar and Grill had really good food. Cannot beat the service and every request was fulfilled quickly and perfectly.
It's time to update the rooms. They are very dated and the lighting is terrible.

Bar staff was great.

Bar staff was great.
Exhaust fan was not working properly. They put a dog in the room next to us because they had a dog show that weekend. Dog woke us 2 mornings in a row. I told them about it and they said we could move. No way. A dog takes preference over a human? BS.

I am currently staying at Hope Hotel on base. It's been a pretty good experience so far. My room is clean and I get new towels everyday. I honestly didn't think I was getting new towels until my stay was over. The front desk personnel were very professional and polite. I ate the restaurant here in the hotel. My food was served very fast and it was delicious. Thank you!

Myprevious review still stands. This hotel is only in business because of the Air Force contract. If you like institutional type living, you will like the Hope. Check out the nifty soap dispensers in the bathrooms. You can still clearly hear the person in the room next to you, because there is no sound proofing. The beds are terribly uncomfortable. The heating/air conditioning is noisy, so bring your ear plugs. Do yourself a favor, and stay some where else.

The hotel is basic, which is fine, what's not fine is that there are fundamental issues that interfere with sleep here. For starters, the walls and doors do a very poor job of reducing outside noises. You can clearly hear people talking in the hallway and neighboring rooms, as well as the water running through the pipes. Along with this, the A/C of the room below causes a very loud, low pitch noise any time it is on - which is pretty often. The mini fridge on the other hand, will occasionally emit a very high pitch noise which is also a nuisance.Another problem is that the curtains do a poor job of blocking out the light from the very, very bright lights in the parking lot. If you are at all light sensitive when trying to sleep, this will be an issue. And last, the bed really isn't comfortable. The bed could be worse, but with all of the other problems, it makes trying to fall asleep that much more difficult.I'll admit that I'm a rather light sleeper, but I've always been able to get at least decent sleep at any hotel I've been to. Here however, I managed to get less than four hours of sleep each night during my week stay. I would have gladly changed hotels, but it wasn't an option at the time.

I am staying here right now and it is not even worth the price. They don't even have coffee in the morning! Everything is old, and musty! Rooms are small and beds are lumpy and soft. There is no space in the room. Counter in bathroom was built so the toilet seat will not stay up! Walls have had some sort of water damage because they have the paint and sheet rock bubbling! Not much difference between this old place and a old hotel downtown. What is with the big H in all of the rooms? I give it no stars!

The Hope is very, very basic so curb your expectations and although I wouldn't consciously choose to stay here (I'm only staying here because they have a contract with the AF and the folks from the course that I am attending at WPAFB booked us here) I think the staff tries . . .the facilities are just old and dated. However something they can improve is the $1.50/load for the washer/dryer . . .it's a bit ridiculous when most hotels have free washer/dryers for guests.

Absolutely horrible. Room is very unwelcoming, and extremely dated. Bed feels like a board with fabric on it, and about 30 years old. The comforter is very outdated and one that you don't want touching your skin. Sitting chair in room is so worn you can nearly see the frame, the rest of the fabric is hard after years and years of use, it is also dirty and has stains. The other furniture has tons of nicks and markings. The flat screen is of utmost poor quality and blurry. The heating system is extremely loud, inefficient, and constantly running. The iron seems new, but is the cheapest one on the market and doesn't work well at all. The bathroom fan is the absolute worst (and it is attached to the light, so you cannot turn it off), sounds like a plane is landing. Sink faucet drips and toilet is not completely attached to the floor. The hairdryer cord has no attachment to the wall, so it is always falling and in your way, which is dangerous being so close to the sink. The hotel has no complimentary breakfast, and the only complimentary coffee is the one in your room, which is unacceptable. Overall, the staff was very nice, but the hotel is not somewhere I"d ever stay again. It is not family friendly.
