Old world charm in great position

Position was great for access to both museums and the central area of Amsterdam. Right on the tram route as well. The lift was definitely a bonus in the old style quaint hotel. Great breakfast was included.

Breakfast was good, staff was helpful and friendly. The location was good.
Our room access was difficult,narrow and steep stairs, no lift option. The room (small double) was extremely small and not very functional.The bed was uncomfortable, wouldn't recommend it at all!!

The triple rooms were in the basement, but they offered to move us to a better room on first floor for the rest of the stay at no extra cost. Great service.

Chambre tres bruyante en l 'absence de double vitrage pour la chambre donnant sur un bd très passant. Serviettes propres et changées tous les jours mais très usées.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Frühstück und Frühstücksraum gut. Unser Hotelzimmer klein, aber für ein paar Tage ausreichend. Betten gut. Alles sauber. Entfernung in Richtung Bahnhof nicht zu weit. Gut der Parkservice: Das Auto wurde am Hotel abgeholt und bei Abreise auch wieder zurück gebracht.
Waschbecken war im Zimmer, nicht im Badezimmer.

The shower was good but that was it.
Reception staff very unwelcoming. Couldn't even get me ice when my husband didn't feel well. Dirty net curtain in the bedroom and cigarette end on the window sill and it was a non-smoking hotel.

The rooms are small, i ll say really small. If yoy go to the toilet there is no space for anything, not even for your legs withdoor closed.
