This charming hotel along the water offers homely accommodation in the centre of idyllic Giethoorn. Relax in this peaceful location; enjoy the attractive brasserie; and benefit from the hotel’s boat rental service. Each of the rooms benefits from the TV and work desk. They also have a compact but fully equipped bathroom with a shower or bath. Wake up each morning with a free breakfast buffet. From this great location, you can also easily discover the original farmhouses and many characteristic bridges on foot. The Dutch Tourist Information Office (VVV) is very near the hotel. The brasserie offers a stylish environment for a pleasant lunch or a delightful dinner. Weather permitting, the terrace is also a lovely place to sit out and relax with a drink. Benefit from free on-site parking at the hotel.

It is possible to place a maximum of 1 extra bed per room, against a surcharge of EUR 30 (including breakfast) + tourist tax. Please note that an extra adult per room without an extra bed costs EUR 10, and EUR 7,50 for a child above 3 years old (including breakfast) + tourist tax. Great location, near Giethoorn centre shops, restaurants and the bus stop. brilliant value for money, and all you can eat Ribs on Friday - the best ribs ever!
The reception was unmanned a lot, the door is locked and you need a key to get in. We waited 30mins outside to try check in as we could not get to door. Could not get a hair dryer on any of the 3days either. The beds are so uncomfortable! They are new and some people might like them but they were very bouncy and if you move the mattress slides off the base.. Not a good sleep.

Nice room, with a nice view on a large canal and countryside, 5-10min to arrive at the romantic spot.
Staff just doing the job, without a smile. bathroom poorly cleaned, with some spiderwebs under the sink and in the ventilation. Toilet paper almost completely used and no other roll on sight. No hair-dryer. Ok to spend one night but we would not come back

Das Frühstück und die weiteren Mahlzeiten im Hotel waren sehr gut.
Leider sind die Matratzen in der Nacht immer gewandert. Die Badezimmer könnten auch eine Renovierung gebrauchen.

Convenient to take bus and rent boat

This hotel located outside of the village, we need to walk about 10 minute to visit the traditional Giethoorn. But it's convenient to take bus and rent boat here. Breakfast is not bad, staff here are friendly as well.
There is a smell of cigarette in the room, although this is a non-smoking hotel. The room's floor is made of wood, we live on the ground floor, it was noisy when the neighbors upstair moves in the room especially during night.

Heerlijk gedineerd en ontbeten in sfeervolle brasserie van hotel. Kamer prima ingericht en netjes. Goede ligging.
Wanden van badkamer mogen vernieuwd worden. Lijkt wel hout wat last begint te krijgen van het vocht. Kamers zijn gehorig.
