About Hotel des Arts

Hotel Des Arts is around the corner from the Kalverstraat shopping area, in the heart of Amsterdam. The Dam Square, Royal Palace and the Flower Market are all within 500 metres. The rooms are simply decorated with old-Dutch touches and come with a private bathroom. Some of the rooms look out over the Amstel river, others are located at the more quiet back of the hotel. Breakfast is available each morning in the breakfast room. Tram stop Spui leaves right across the street and offers easy access to Amsterdam Central Station and popular sites such as Rijksmuseum and the Anne Frank House. Within 400 metres, Rembrandt Square offers a wide range of bars and restaurants. Canal cruises depart 200 meters from Hotel des Arts.

Con gran diferencia lo mejor del Hotel Des Arts es su ubicacion. Todo a pie. Muy cerca todo,

Su ubicacion, amabilidad de su personal esforzandose para que estes bien y que una casa muy tipica de Amsterdam. Pero sobre todo y a mucha distancia de las demás su ubicacion en todo el centro de la ciudad.
El desayuno es cortito con casera, no tiene variedad de alimentos, pero lo que hay es bueno y fresco.

Close to all the best places. Within walking distance of all the local attractions. Clean, very friendly staff, beautiful old house, quaint, would return.
The only downside was the very basic cold breakfast. Exactly the same every day. Even a toaster would have made it more appetising. And there was a kettle in the room but no coffee, sugar etc? For the price I paid for our 3 day stay, I'd have loved some bacon and egg!

La posizione è ottima e centralissima: a piedi si arriva tranquillamente alle maggiori attrazioni della Città. Il personale è cordiale e molto disponibile. La pulizia della stanza è ottima, giornaliera e con cambio degli asciugamani. L'albergo è un tipico edificio storico del centro di Amsterdam quindi le scale sono ripide e strette e non esiste l'ascensore ma la camera ed il bagno sono molto comodi e più grandi di quanto ci si possa aspettare.
La camera non era dotata di frigo dove poter mettere in fresco acqua o alimenti.

Sehr charmante Unterkunft. Absolut zentral. Wir konnten alles super zu Fuß erlaufen und direkt vor der Haustür zu einer Grachtenfahrt starten. Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
Einfaches Frühstück. Enges Treppenhaus zu den Zimmern - alles recht eng aber sehr liebevoll eingerichtet.

Super freundliches Personal. Auch Sonderwünsche beim Frühstück werden sofort erledigt (Allergien). Lage direkt im Zentrum und Abendleben. Altes Amsterdamer Haus umgebaut zu einem Hotel mit entsprechendem Charm! Direkt nebenan gibt es ein super Restaurant mit gutem Essen (VD) Die normalen Zimmer sind klein und gemütlich. Auf Wunsch gibt es bei Aufpreis aber ein grösseres Zimmer.
Schalldämmung in den Zimmern wegen der Strassenlage.

La posizione centrale.
Non era ben comprensibile che l'albergo fosse un due stelle...con prezzo da 3/4 stelle minimo. Le scale sono scomode per la movimentazione bagagli e gli spazi "stretti". Essendo un due stelle mancano anche i servizi base tipo l'asciugacapelli ( che chiedendo danno). La sala colazione è cupa e la colazione è veramente triste! Fortunatamente Amsterdam offre colazioni super e pancakes mitici.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und rund um die Uhr erreichbar, die Rezeption war immer besetzt. Die Lage hat uns auch gefallen, die naechste Strassenbahnhaltestelle ist schnell erreichbar. Das Fruehstueck ist schlicht mit ausreichend Auswahl und es wird staendig nachgelegt. Auf unsere Anfrage um frueheres Fruehstueck aufgrund des zeitigen Einlasses im Annefrankhaus wurde ohne Zoegern eingegangen. Wirklich TOP, wuerde sofort wieder dort buchen.
