About Hotel Epping

Hotel Epping is a small and very professional 3-star hotel, lead by young and enthusiastic entrepreneurs. The hotel is quietly situated in the old town centre of the medieval town IJsselstein, approx. 10 km from Utrecht. All the rooms at Holland Hotel Epping equipped with shower, toilet, telephone and the latest technologies such as digital TV and free Wi-Fi. Three restaurants can be found within 100 metres from the hotel, each offering dishes made with the finest fresh products.

The hotel's restaurant Bites & Nights will open in October 2013. Public parking is available 150 metres away from the property. Please note that check-in outside regular check-in times is possible, but only upon request. Guests can use the Special Requests Box or contact the property directly. Please note that reception is closed on Sundays. Check-in is possible throughout the whole day. Guests can only do so with a special code provided by the hotel.

De kamer was algemeen ok. Leuke eetformule "Bits" aan het hotel. Locatie centraal in het oude stadscentrum, doch zonder al te veel lawaai en drukte. Parkeergelegenheid in de nabijheid. Ontbijt was verzorgd. Vlotte verbinding met Utrecht, A'dam, ...
Badkamer een beetje afgeleefd en niet goed gepoetst. Het ontbijtbuffet op zondag, bij grotere drukte, werd niet aangevuld. Ontbijten in restaurantgedeelte met vuile vloer van de avond er voor oogde minder appetijtelijk.

De ligging van het hotel is super, mooi en rustig dorpje niet ver van Utrecht, lekker ontbijt, vriendelijk personeel.
De isolatie van de kamers... in de kamer naast ons heeft er iemand om 2 uur 's nacht een kwartier getelefoneerd en wij konden het ganse gesprek volgen...

Gezellige sfeer beneden, gemoedelijk. Midden in oude centrum Nieuwegein Goede bedden
Fantasieloze kamers, kleine aanpassingen zouden ze kunnen verfrissen. Mogelijkheid om thee te zetten op de kamer zou fijn zijn. Dunne plastic bekertjes gemeld. Werd wakker van waterleidingen in de badkamer s nachts.

de temperatuur in de ruimte waar de maaltijden werden geserveerd was erg laag; koud zelfs - dat mag iets warmer.

Nice long weekend at IJsselstein

The hotel is in the centre of IJsselstein and close to everyting in this beautiful town. The staff is so kind and helpful, the room was tidy and nice with airco. The breakfast was great. I can only recommend to everybody this place.
