About Hotel Graaf Bernstorff

National Park Schiermonnikoog offers a picturesque backdrop for Hotel Graaf Bernstorff which features a library, free bus service and café with a heated veranda. The island’s pier is 3.7 km away. The rooms at Bernstorff benefit from unique décor with antique-style furniture and include extra-long beds, a TV and tea and coffee making equipment. Each bathroom has a bath and shower. Graaf Bernstorff’s restaurant serves Mediterranean-style cuisine in the evening. During the day a menu of light meals, sandwiches and bar snacks is offered. Each dish is inspired by seasonal ingredients. Guests can make use of the free return shuttle bus service which departs from the ferry terminal. A ferry from Lauwersoog will take 45 minutes to sail to the island. Graaf Bernstorff Hotel can also prepare and deliver picnics.

Please note that guests can only pay with pin (debit card) and cash at Hotel Graaf Bernstorff. Please note that cars are not permitted on the island.

We hebben een heerlijke kamer gehad. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en goed verzorgd.
Er liggen overal plavuizen, als er iemand met een stoel schuift hoor je dit enorm.

Ligging midden in het dorp is prima. Leuke restaurants op loppafstand. Met de fiets is het hele eiland goed bereikbaar.
De appartementen zijn wel wat saai ingericht, niks aan de muur.

Wat een heerlijke plek. Uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Uitstekende service, toen bleek dat er niet genoeg rekening met mijn dieet was gehouden. Vriendelijk opgelost. Toen bleek dat we de bus hadden gemist, werd er een taxi besteld!
Het uitzicht vanuit de kamers was niet heel fijn.

Ik meende een hotelkamer geboekt te hebben. Daarin werd ik gesterkt toen gevraagd werd of het inclusief ontbijt moest zijn. Het was een appartement, dat overigens heel prettig was. Ik vind het vervelend te moeten met een icoontje en een tekst als 'vertel ons meer te krijgen'.

Mooi ruim appartement midden in het dorp wel zelf magnetron meenemen :-)

Locatie was prima, het appartement ruim en comfortabel, zag er nieuw uit en voorzien van balkon op de zon. Mooi ingericht restaurant en terras. Afgezien van de details bij :( genoemd van alles voorzien ook keuken textiel, genoeg handdoeken voor een vierdaasverblijf e.d.
Faciliteiten in de keuken. Er was geen magnetron/oven in de keuken (die we wel nodig hebben ivm dieetvoeding), ook geen kaasschaaf trouwens. Bedden vonden we iets te zacht maar dat is persoonlijk. Luchtroosters en vitrage in slaapkamers niet schoon.

Aan te raden voor een heerlijk ontspannen verblijf

De accommodatie was prachtig.
Het personeel was vriendelijk, echter niet altijd even oplettend. Lang moeten wachten op het terras, zolang dat we zelf naar binnen gegaan zijn om te zeggen dat we graag iets wilden bestellen, maar dat ze maar niet langs kwamen. Ze hebben dit wel ter harte genomen.
