Hotel Kasteel Terworm is a luxurious 4-star hotel set in a 14th century castle surrounded by French rococo gardens and nature park. It is located within walking distance of the city of Heerlen. The castle features luxurious bedrooms, all individually designed to the highest standards. They feature a minibar, seating area and TV. Each has a bathroom which is fitted with a bath and/or shower. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the classic environment of the restaurant. The restaurant offers local and seasonal dishes. You can enjoy a drink in the d'Auberge bar. Free Wi-Fi and free parking is offered by Hotel Kasteel Terworm. Guests also have free access to the wellness centre and solarium at Van Der Valk Hotel Heerlen, 500 m away. Every Tuesday and Thursday morning guests can take Aqua Gym classes for free. Bicycle rental is available on site. On sunny days you can relax on the Castle-Moat terrace with a drink. Maastricht is 20 minutes by car. The A76 and A79 highways are a 5-minutes' drive.

We loved the beautiful castle.
When I booked, the website lead me to believe that the charge was 170 euro for the senior suite but when we arrived they charged 40euro more for using the sofa bed. The website is not clear what so ever. It stated that if we brought in an extra bed it would be 20 euro per bed. I am very disappointed that we were charged 40 euro for the sofa bed. I thought that when we paid more to book the senior suite, that included the use of the sofa bed. I will not be using again.

Ontzettend vriendelijk, beleefd en behulpzaam personeel. Je voelt je erg welkom en ze doen alles voor je om je verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken.

De plek bij het kasteel is prachtig. De kamer was ook prima alleen wel heel warm zonder airco. En een hopeloos dik kussen. Het ontbijt was in buffetvorm.
Niet echt een kasteelgevoel omdat de kamer niets "kasteelachtigs" heeft.

Nice Dutch castle. Quiet rooms. Nice outside terrace.
No possibility to unload your luggage at the front door (quite a walk from the parking place). The hotel is somewhere in between luxury and very average. The location is very nice, but it's somewhere lacking in style and service. Some more attention could be giving to the water surrounding the castle.

Rundum erholsamer Urlaub in ruhiger, sehr komfortabler Umgebung. Herrliches Ambiente, innerhalb und außerhalb der Räume des gepflegten, ehemaligen Landsitzes. Sehr freundliches, stets aufmerksames, aber unaufdringliche Personal/Service. Reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet (warm+kalt) wird in den altehrwürdigen Räumen des Schlosses serviert. Gourmetrestaurant mit ausgezeichneter Menükarte (im Gault Millau verzeichnet). 7-Tage-Aufenthalt nicht gerade billig, aber alles in allem ein ausgezeichnetes Preisleistungsverhältnis.
keine Abstriche, lediglich Hinweise: - Menükarte wechselt, wie in Gourmetküchen üblich, nur alle 3 Monate - Kein eigenes Schwimmbad vorhanden (Wellnessangebot des ca. 500 m entfernten Partnerhotels kann jedoch genutzt werden, wurde von uns aber nicht in Anspruch genommen)
