This family hotel, which has free WiFi, is situated a few minutes' walk from the beach on the island of Texel. Most rooms of Hotel Kogerstaete Texel offer a balcony or terrace. The accommodation is only 850 metres from the beach, while the forest is 70 metres away. The rooms at Hotel Kogerstaete Texel benefits from a LED-TV, refrigerator and a hospitality tray with coffee and tea making facilities. Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst met goede uitleg over faciliteiten van de kamer. Op loopafstand van leuke restaurantjes in De Koog. Kamer mooi ingericht, goed bed en alles netjes schoon. Ontbijt uitgebreid met heerlijk vers gebakken brood.

Gastvrouw ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam, ontbijt geweldig!! Iedere ochtend vers gebakken brood, heerlijk!!! Alles was vers én heerlijk! Kamer super schoon en gezellig en zeer sfeervol ingericht. Geweldig hotel en kamer????????????????????????????????

Persoonlijke, aangename ontvangst. Zeer schone kamer met moderne faciliteiten en moderne badkamer. Prima ontbijt.
Geen diner mogelijk, maar door de uitstekende ligging meerdere opties voor avondeten in de directe omgeving. Prijs van de kamer zou iets lager kunnen.

Perfectly located Hotel for both the beach and shopping/restaurants.

Very friendly owners. When we walked in, the bread for breakfast the next day was baking and it was a very welcoming aroma. Our room (30) even had a bath ! fantastic. Excellent location, so close to town. Breakfast was also excellent, so much choice. Free parking behind the hotel also available. Look forward to returning one day.

Ontbijt was heerlijk, we sliepen in een apartement met 2 aparte slaapkamers, en klein keukentje met koffiezet apparaat (Nespresso), magnetron, koelkast, waterkoker en eierkoker.
Het is niet goedkoop.... en het zou leuk zijn als het hotel een lounge had (maar waarschijnlijk is het daar te klein voor)

Het ontbijt was goed! Kamers ook maar had niet veel weg van een suite. Meer een appartement.
Badkamer deurkrukken vervangen, zaten los.Spiegel was beschadigd in badkamer. Geen badmat, geen toiletpapier aanwezig.

Wir kommen wieder!

Die freundliche und persönliche Betreuung durch das Personal hat uns sehr gefallen, man hatte immer einen Ansprechpartner. Das Haus war obwohl es ausgebucht war, sehr ruhig und harmonisch. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und reichhaltig bestückt. Das selbstgebackene Brot schmeckte uns sehr gut.

Unacceptable for that price

It was clean. Location is great, close to the beach and in the city but still calm. Good breakfast.
Completely overpriced!The room was at the ground floor facing the car park. Therefore you needed to have the blends closed, otherwise everyone will look into your room. Although not needed, the room was big, consisting of a bedroom and a separate living room with kitchenette. The seize probably encouraged to leave the hoover in the entrance! The interior had a modern but cheap glimpse with laminat and standard, budget furniture which didn't make it a bright or friendly room. We had to kill around 10 (!) Moskitos to get not bitten into pieces. The owners first didn't believe us but then - after experiencing them themselves - were helpful in closing the entrance door. The white, old bathroom offered a low-pressure shower and a bath tub. 1 set of towels each, not even a bathmap, 2 cheapy sachets of bath foam and 1 shampoo/conditioner.The breakfast was yummy but couldn't make up for that kind of rip-off during German holiday season.Never stayed in a hotel for such a bad value (198,40 Eur per double room per night!).No facilities, no special charme, no extras, nothing than a clean room. In a good location with a nice breaky. Okay, but certainly not for 200 Eur per night!

Attente ontvangst, goede advisering en dienstverlening, locatie centraal in dorp en parkeren op eigen terrein, kamer op bovenste verdieping eerlijk gezegd 'gewoon' (zoals zo'n kamer, mede gelet op de prijs, op zijn minst hoort te zijn; en tsja, wij zijn dus i.v.m. het verduisteren niet dol op dakramen met kantelmechaniek... andere ruimtes zo te zien beslist comfortabeler, zelfs met balkon), royale en schone badkamer, goede bedden, wifi prima, goed ontbijt. Al met al, het was een aangenaam (en voor herhaling vatbaar) verblijf.

Familiär geführtes Hotel

Das Hotel ist sehr gemütlich und gepflegt.Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und gemütlich.Wir waren mit unseren Hund unterwegs und konnten eine schöne Zeit verbringen.Die Lage ist perfekt, direkt vor der Fußgängerzone. Zwei Fahrradverleihs sind in fünf Minuten zu erreichen.
Das Bett war sehr weich und auch schmal (ca. 140cm). Das Bad war nur durch eine Schiebetür aus Glas abgetrennt, wodurch mal alles mithören (und riechen) konnte.
