About Hotel La Luna

Hotel La Luna is located in the heart of historic Lucca, just a few steps from Piazza Anfiteatro. Staff have excellent local knowledge and can advise on the best places to eat. Situated in a renovated 18th-century palace, rooms at La Luna are air conditioned and have a TV, all have private bathrooms. The buffet breakfast includes pastries, cereals and fresh fruit. After a day’s sightseeing, guests can enjoy a drink at the bar which is open until midnight. There is also a small lounge area with a TV and internet access. Lucca Train Station is a 15-minute walk and the A11 Florence motorway is just a few minutes’ drive. Private parking is available at a location nearby.

Please note that rooms are located in two separate buildings on the same square. Please note that parking is subject to confirmation from the hotel before arrival, as parking spaces are limited.

In the center of historic Lucca. One of the staff members, was helpful and nice.
Parking was hard although we can drive very well, getting inside the city is not convenient. cost of parking and the price of room is very high. it was written that 110 euro is discount of 63%! cant believe that its real to pay for this room such price.

The staff helped us to park the car in their garage and to move it out in very tight quarters.
The noisy fan in the bathroom. The breakfast had cold cuts but no hot food and only 0.1% yogurt.

Great hotel in the centre of Lucca

This is a great hotel located in the centre of Lucca old town, with the advantage of a private garage for parking (you need to reserve this in advance). All of the restaurants and sites of Lucca are within a few minutes walk and the train station is only a 10/15 minute walk away. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff very helpful. A great hotel for local sightseeing and as a base for travelling a little further afield (Pisa, Florence, etc.).
The breakfast was a little basic, but good enough.

Parkplatz ist sehr schwierig zu erreichen, Vorabbeschreibung wäre sehr hilfreich, phasenweise musste man entgegen der Einbahnstraße oder in der Fußgängerzone fahren, um den Parkplatz zu erreichen.

Lage, Lage, Lage.
Anfahrt mit Pkw zum Hotel sehr schwierig. Wer Parkplatz gebucht hat, muss trotzdem erst im Hotel Unterlagen und Schlüssel abholen. Und dann ist dieser Parkplatz nicht nur weit weg vom Hotel, sondern auch nur mit Fragen von Passanten zu finden.
