About Hotel Lamerichs
Lamerichs is situated in a forested area near the Geul River and opposite the Geulhemmer caves, only a 10-minute drive from both historic Maastricht and the spa and casino town of Valkenburg. The hotel has a spacious terrace with views on the forest. It is an ideal starting point for cycling tours. The hotel rooms have a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with a shower or bath. Guests can make free use of the parking facilities and Wi-Fi. Each morning an extensive breakfast buffet is offered which includes an egg which will be prepared according to preference. É uma propriedade rural, pertinho de Maastricht. Pôde-se ir andando, por um caminho lindo, ou pegar o trem que passa de 20 em 20 minutos ou ir de carro, quem preferir. Eu e meu marido fomos de trem . Excelente. Só tem um porém: a máquina só tem intenções em holandês. Por sorte, encontramos um holandês para nos ajudar. Eles são super gentis. Adorei ter ficado neste hotel ao invés de outro hotel em Maastricht. Um dia, voltarei.

As we were in the hotel for an event, we asked the hotel if we could have an early breakfast, even if it was just small items that were available in the hotel. We were told that nothing was possible and that the breakfast time, was the only time that breakfast was possible.

Bij aankomst is verzuimd te vragen of we fietsen bij ons hadden, iets wat veel van de gasten hebben gezien de omgeving. Toen mijn fiets van de auto was gestolen en ik dat meldde was de reactie: " waarom hebt u de fietsen niet in de kelder gezet" tja, als ik geweten had dat die er was... Ik had een opbergplaats natuurlijk ook kunnen vragen. Niet aan gedacht.
