About Hotel Max

Hotel Max offers free WiFi and is located only 300 metres from the Heineken Experience and the Albert Cuyp market. It is 300 metres from the Stadhouderskade tram stop in a quiet residential part of the famous De Pijp district. Checking-in should be done at Hotel Iris. All of the colourful rooms at Hotel Max come with private bathroom facilities with a shower. Some of the rooms look out over the small courtyard garden. Guests must take a steep staircase in order to reach their rooms. Oosteinde tram stop is at 300 metres, and links to the Rijksmuseum and lively Leidse Square. Dam Square and Amsterdam Central Station are a short ride on tram 16, 4 and 25. Koninklijk Theater Carre is just 500 metres from the property and from the Weesperplein stop at 300 metres has a direct tube-connection to the Amsterdam Arena. From this same stop there is a direct connection to the Heineken Music Hall which takes 19 minutes.

Please note that the bed setting might differ per room type and bed preference is based on availability upon arrival. Please note that reception closed temporarily. Guests must go to Hotel Iris (Sarphatikade 17, 1017 WV Amsterdam) for check-in or assistance. Opening hours for Hotel Iris are from 08:00 - 22:00. Please note that this hotel has steep stairs and does not have an elevator. Guests are responsible for carrying their own luggage into the room. Luggage assistance may be provided subject to staff availability for EUR 5 per bag. Please note that breakfast is served at Hotel Iris from 08:00 until 10:30 hours at EUR 9.50 per person. Please note that the accommodation will be replacing the carpet in the stair house of the entire hotel from 09/10/17 - 13/10/17. Minor inconveniences may occur.

Ottima la posizione, vicino sia al centro che alla piazza dei musei raggiungibili entrambi in 10 minuti massimo con la bici. Affitto delle biciclette. Cordialità dello staff.
La stanza un po' piccola, pochissimo spazio oltre il letto. Wc e doccia insieme e lavandino nella stanza.

no elevator. You have to cross the bridge to do check out and check in, which means you have to bring all your luggage back and forth. The room is super small too. No space to open my luggage.

Albergo con ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Consigliato per chi sta fuori tt il giorno e a dieci minuti di tram dal centro e mezz'ora a piedi. 15 min da museo van Gogh e Heineken experience
Servizio renting bike assente e materasso scomodissimo. Conversazione con la reception all hotel iris di fronte alla struttura solo in inglese, quindi non è vero che sanno parlare tante lingue

Muy buena ubicación, fácil para el transporte y caminar por la ciudad.
Me tocó el cuarto más lejano, había que subir miles de escalones. Y la ventilación de la habitacion no era la mejor.

Напротив отеля отличный Lidl и совершенно очаровательный и очень полезный рынок Альберта Кейпа. Очень колоритно и вкусно)
Для заселения нужно было идти в другой отель, об этом можно было проинформировать заранее по почте(

El personal muy amable, una chica brasileña que trabaja ahí.
A pesar de que en la página lo especifican tienes que hacer el check in el otro hotel aunque es cercano, es molesto estar de una lado a otro con la maleta. No tenía aire acondicionado. Las habitaciones en Amsterdam son excesivamente caras y esta no fue la excepción. Muy pequeño. Pero cumplió el cometido. Pasar la noche y bañarse.

Bom custo beneficio

O quarto é bem pequeno e apertadinho, conforme fotos, mas é bem limpinho e a cama e o chuveiro são ótimos! O hotel fica bem localizado, a uns 100m da Albert cuypmarket e perto da praça dos museus e bem em frente há um supermercado chamado Lidl que é ótimo e muito barato. Oferece secador de cabelo e aluguel de bike por 12,5 euros. No geral, avalio como um bom custo beneficio, visto os preços altos de hospedagem em Amterdam. Voltaria caso estivesse com um bom preço. Há atendente que fala português, a Milena, que por sinal foi um amor!
O ponto negativo é que possui vários andares e não possue elevador, e as escadas são super estreitinhas, fácil de cair. Outro é que nele não tem recepção, para fazer checkin é preciso ir ao hotel Iris, localizado a 120m dele, assim como caso o seu cartão magnético não abra a porta, também (como aconteceu cmg), o que é frustrante pois além de subir escada ainda ter que andar até outro hotel pra resolver esse inconveniente!

Estaba todo muy limpio, con un estilo nuevo y moderno.
La cama era muy estrecha como de unos 70cm. La ubicación no está mal por ese precio, hay que caminar unos 20 min hasta el centro. También se oye todo de las habitaciones contiguas pero la zona es bastante tranquila. Lo peor sería que tienes que ir a dos calles para hacer el check-in y check-out ya que este hotel no tiene recepción abierta.

The staff on reception is great and very helpful.
The reception is in a different hotel (hotel iris). There is mess under a bed. Walls are so thin so you can hear neighbours,noise from coridor.

Il bagno è sporco, piccolo è inaccessibile! Il lavandino è fuori dal bagno nella stanza da letto. La stanza è talmente piccola da non potersi muovere. Non c'è l armadio per due persone! Pulizia scarsa, non cambiano le asciugamani e per lo più sono sporche! Non ci ritornerei mai
