About Hotel Rembrandt

Hotel Rembrandt is located in the residential Plantage District, next to the Artis Zoo. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi and an international library with more than 1800 books. Each room of Hotel Rembrandt has a private bathroom, coffee/tea facilities and a minibar. The rooms facing the street have double glazing. Beste Lage für kurzen Städtetrip

Es hat sich definitiv gelohnt, im Hotel zu frühstücken. 10 € für Erw, 5 € für Kinder - dafür viele versch Brotsorten, Aufschnitt, Obst, Saft, Eier, Müsli, Kaffee ... lecker! Außerdem gibt es eine gut bestückte Minibar, deren Inhalt "free of charge" verzehrt werden kann - also bereits im Hotelpreis enthalten.
Kein Aufzug, was bei einem Zimmer im 3. Stock und sehr engen Treppen schon anstrengend war. Leider kein Parkplatz am Hotel, was wir aber vorher wussten.

24hr reception very helpful. Excellent location with a tram line right outside. Ideal for couples. Complimentary mini fridge snacks / drinks were a lovely touch. Lovely café just down the road, perfect for breakfast / lunch.
We had a double bed, mattress very comfortable but provided with two single duvets instead of a double duvet to go with the bed. Walls seemed quite thin as could hear people running up & down the stairs from 4am onwards.

Le camere vecchiotte e poco pulite e il materasso va assolutamente cambiato,troppo piccolo e scomodo.

Lovely Family Run Hotel

We thought the breakfast at 10 Euros each was excellent value. Lots to choose from and extremely fresh. Fresh cold meats, cheese and fruit. Also scrambled and boiled eggs if you wanted something hot. Well worth it.
There wasn't anything we didn't like.

מארחים מדהימים ! מקום מעולה (רצוי להשכיר אופניים ואז ממש 2 דקות מכל המקומות המרכזיים). ניתן לבקש חדר עם גישה לגינה(חדר מספר 2 ) ואז יש גינה ומרפסת מטורפת שאפשר לעשן שם בשקט . בקיצור מלון מדהים לקבוצה של חברים ואפילו זוגות צעירים. ממליץ בחום !

La gentillesse et la disponibilité du personnel (de jour comme de nuit), la situation de l'hôtel (le quartier est calme et doté de nombreuses options pour se restaurer même avec une arrivée tardive), la proximité des transports publics. Le fait d'avoir eu une chambre côté jardin, donc calme.
Le prix exorbitant pour un deux étoiles. La qualité très insuffisante du matelas, l'exiguïté extrême de la chambre, l'odeur de moisi dans la chambre, la qualité très médiocre de la télévision. La mauvaise insonorisation entre les chambres, la propreté parfois un peu limite dans la chambre. L'accès au jardin depuis la chambre.

We had a really nice time at a small hotel, with a nice staff. We liked very much the place and it was easy to get around, not far from the center, and the tram stopped just outside. The breakfast was good. we had nothing to complain about.
The room was small, but big enough to sleep in.

Café da manhã excelente. Funcionários atenciosos. Falam bem inglês. Localização boa. Não é tão perto do centro, mas andei a pé numa boa. Tem frigobar com chocolate incluído e água à vontade.
Não tem elevador. Mas eu fiquei num quarto baixo. Não atrapalhou muito.

Der Speisesaal ist umwerfend. Beim Frühstück war für jeden was dabei. Große Cafeauswahl. Minibar inklusive! Familiäre Atmosphäre (z.B. Der Keymanager ist Briks, ein kuscheliger Kater). Kinderwagen konnte jedoch an der Rezeption abgestellt werden. Im Garten gab es grüne, freilebend Papageien ( absolutes Highlight)!

Absolutely nothing.
Rude staff. Stole £300 out of my account with no authorisation. Booked. Quadruple room. Got a double a sofa and a camp bed. Not great for 4 large adults. Total disgrace. Avoid like the plague.

Das Haus, die Gestaltung der Räume. Großzügiges 3-Bettzimmer. Besonders der Frühstücksraum. Super Minibar.
Viel Staub unter dem Bett und in den Ecken. Unangenehmer Geruch im Bad und sehr wenig Wasserdruck aus der Dusche.

Reception desk personnel were great; room was clean and quiet; free items in room mini bar [no beer]; close to 2 cafes and 1 great restaurant; wifi reception good.
Room on 2nd floor in Europe means 3rd floor in US and climbing a steeper than usual staircase at days end with your bags; no a/c, typical; for the money - a very small room and bed linen should be changed each day before noon; free water should be each day; most key tour sites were 20 to 30 minutes walking distance minimum.
