About Hotel Restaurante El Ventós

Housed in a 15th-century mansion, El Ventós is set in an estate in Garrotxa National Park. It features a swimming pool, rooms with balconies and free Wi-Fi access throughout. Each of the Ventós' rooms is individually decorated and has rustic décor. All rooms offer views of the surrounding countryside. Each has a flat-screen TV and a minibar. The hotel's à la carte restaurant serves a range of Catalan cuisine and has its own wine cellar. Guests can relax on the terrace, which offers views of the Pyrenees. There is also a library, which features a fireplace. The Ventós is ideally located for outdoor activities, including hiking, horse riding and mountain biking. The hotel can provide guests with bikes and offer information on the surrounding area. Olot, Santa Pau and Girona can be reached in around 40 minutes, by car.

Pets are allowed only upon request, in the suite with terrace and in the superior double room with terrace. On December 31 there is a gala dinner for EUR 90 per person.

La ubicación es excelente y la tranquilidad y el silencio. es perfecto para ir a descansar desconectar. El personal excelente a excepción de la recepcionista.
ATENCIÓN.!!!Antes de realizar la reserva, nadie te informa que el coste de llevar a tu mascota es 25€/noche y siempre que hayas reservado una habitación superior. Asi que si viajas con mascota, CUIDADO! no puedes coger una habitación normal !!!!! y debes añadir el importe por noche de tu mascota, que no incluye nada, ni siquiera un plato de agua para él :-(

La tranquilidad tanto dentro del hotel como en la finca que lo rodea. Amabilidad del personal. La comida del restaurant exquisita aunque la carta tenga pocos platos.
El camino de acceso pero dada la localización es normal y perdonable.

Los 8km desde la carretera hasta el hotel son por un camino complicado...pero solo dura 15 minutos

De schandalige ontvangst ! Wij hebben op 2 nachten 708 € betaald , toch wel redelijk veel vind ik , vind niet erg van deze prijs te betalen maar dan wil ik wel waar van mijn geld ! Wij waren van dag 1 precies niet welkom , als je iets vroeg was het teveel ! Geen tafels gedekt bij ontbijt en geen personeel te bespeuren , niemand van het personeel verstaat 1 woord Engels of Frans , ze verstaan gewoon niks ! Als je een ei vraagt , dat verstaan ze niet ! Echt hopeloos , wij zijn voor dat geld meer gewoon ! 1 pluspunt is het hotel zelf , zeer mooi ????. Dit met ander personeel een vriendelijke eigenaar , dat zou top zijn , terwijl wij er eigenlijk al voor het 2de jaar komen !

Espectacular hotel, impresionante paraje natural, trato humano excelente, instalaciones preciosas. Muy recomendable, volveremos en otoño para disfrutar de la policromía del paisaje
Único handicap es que no llegaba el wifi a la habitación, La ducha de hidromasaje no funcionaba y que la cama doble consistía en dos camas individuales unidas pero eran de diferente altura por lo que a media noche las camas se separaban

Q las paredes de la habitación no está bien insonorizadas y nos tocaron unos vecinos muy escandalosos...xo son muy comodas, bonitas y con unas vistas preciosas...

A hidden gem

Amazing location, totally silent, away from everything. The room (Ventos suite, room 106) was big, with 2 terraces, great views. Very clean, good installations. Excellent heating. The food was good and the service excellent. They offer lots of interesting activities. A bit pricey, but definitely worth it if you can afford it. It aims to be a luxury destination after all. Not the best choice if money matters a lot. Perfect for a couples' getaway. We've already booked our next stay! :)
The 7.5 km access road is in good condition, but very narrow, so if you have a large car be prepared for some stressful close encounters. The double bed had 2 single mattresses put together, which seemed a bit old and were too soft. The blanket on the bed was thin and cheap, not according to the luxury standards of the hotel. Not a lot of variety in terms of drinks, decent variety of the food menu. The water isn't potable on the premises, but they offer free bottled water. The minibar is free but has nothing apart from water and some sodas. I would rather pay for the minibar and have a better selection of beverages and maybe snacks. Outside kitchen hours (limited to breakfast, lunch and dinner), there's no possibility to order anything except from a self-serviced bar with limited options of drinks only.

- No ens va agradar gens que durant la nit els propietaris de l'hotel marxéssin. Érem quatre clients i teníem tota la instal·lació sola. - El preu desproporcionat per les instal·lacions i serveis que teníem.
