About Hotel Tesselhof

This hotel is situated in the centre of De Koog on Texel, only 650 metres from the dunes and beach. Tesselhof features a terrace, games room and an elegant conservatory. Hotel Tesselhof benefits from accommodation with cable TV and a work desk. Guests can enjoy a daily buffet breakfast featuring fresh bread, croissants and muesli with yoghurt and fresh fruit. La Casserole restaurant serves Burgundian cuisine in a cosy setting with original features including a beamed ceiling. The menu offers dishes with ingredients from Texel including lamb, buckthorn and locally produced cheese. The hotel also offers bicycle rental and a packed lunch service. Tesselhof Hotel is a 5-minute drive from Ecomare and Golfcourse De Texelse is a 15-minute car journey away.

Large suite with small kitchen for reasonable price. Good breakfast included and even the possibility to get a packed lunch.
A carpet in the room would make it feel a bit warmer.

Mooie kamers! Ontbijt was ook keurig verzorgd, accommodatie in het centrum, genoeg vertier en dichterbij het strand dan ik dacht!
Dat het erg druk was bij het koffie apparaat tijdens ontbijt, moest in de rij staan voor m'n eerste bakkie, de belangrijkste van de dag!

A sleep in the 'heart' of De Koog!

Location is GREAT! In the heart of De Koog. Lekker Timmer Bakker is just in front of you. Staff is friendly. Spacious and clean apartment room. Breakfast!! We love the different smoothies every morning. Great croissants. Offer 4 different types of coffee. Would be great if sausages or frikadelle could substitute bacons (so there will be variety of warm food served in the morning - not always bacons). Love the fruits salads! Perhaps quark could be added. :) Love the 'play' area with different activities. Tesselhof is the 6th hotel that we've stayed in Texel. It's great to have the opportunity to stay here. Now we know that this hotel would be an option whenever we are back to Texel.
We stayed in the apartment and it provides us with lots of space and well-equipped kitchen. It would be great if the apartments could be renovated and upgraded as the furniture are old and floor needs to be fixed. We found the plastic plants downgrade the room. Instead of plastic plants, perhaps a bit of fresh flowers would be better. Perhaps some nice pictures would be a great addition on the bed (cause it looks empty). I assume this is a friendly hotel for pets. We don't mind at all. However, the smell on the hallway was uncomfortable. I wonder if there could be a solution so whenever we enter the hallway to our room we would have a good feeling (holiday feeling not a damp stinky place).

De man bij de receptie was ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam en deed enorm zijn best gasten een fijn verblijf te bezorgen.
De kookplaat en koelkast werkten niet naar behoren en de koffiekopjes stonden vies in de kast. Vriendelijk verzoek bij de receptie om schone kopjes werd door de schoonmaakster als een persoonlijke belediging opgevat. Beklag over het functioneren van het keukentje werd afgedaan met jammer dan. Inderdaad jammer dan, want er zijn genoeg onderkomens op Texel, waar we wel serieus worden genomen en een mankement zonder problemen en netjes wordt opgelost.

Tesselhof is een fijn hotel, waar ik mij thuis voel. Ontbijt was prima. ruime kamers. Badkamers zijn ook voor ouderen ingericht.
De bedden zijn een beetje instabiel. Wel goede matrassen. omdat ze hoog op de poten staan schuiven ze over de plavuizenvloer wat een krassend geluid geeft.

Voor een heerlijke vakantie op texel is dit je eerste keuze!

Sauna op de kamer en de mogelijkheid om half pension te kunnen nemen voor 29.95 waarvoor je een drie gangen menu van de kaart kan samenstellen. En het restaurant is uitzonderlijk goed.
De WiFi was ondanks een extender gewoon erg traag.
