Hotel The Neighbour's Magnolia is a small dog-friendly hotel situated in the cultural quarter of Amsterdam, 850 metres from shopping street P.C. Hooftstraat. Museum Quarter is a 10-minute walk away and houses the Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum and Stedelijk Museum. Complimentary tea and coffee is offered on arrival. Each modern room at Hotel The Neighbour's Magnolia is decorated in light pastel shades. It offers a flat-screen TV, a desk with a Hay chair and an en-suite bathroom with a bath or shower. Some have a furnished balcony or patio, and one has a private rooftop terrace. Free Wi-Fi is also offered. A continental breakfast can be taken in the bright breakfast room overlooking the street. At Honesty Bar in the lounge guests can enjoy a Nespresso coffee, soft drinks, beer, wines, savoury and sweet snacks. Amsterdam city centre is easily accessible on foot or by public transport. Ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid, zelfs rekening gehouden met dieetwensen glutenvrij en lactose intolerantie. Aardig behulpzaam personeel.
achteraf gezien jammer dat wij aan de voorkant sliepen, veel lawaai van verkeer en tram.

位置在博物馆区，2号tram从CS中心火车站过来15分钟左右，就在车站马路对面。站名记不太清楚了，第一个单词是Nor（因为不懂荷兰语，只能帮大家到这里），其实就在梵高博物馆VAN XX的下一站就是。距离梵高博物馆和国立博物馆，走过去10分钟。因为是一条主路很安静也很安全。离莱顿广场也是2号电车五六分钟。博物馆附近有个大超市不错，离奢侈品街也不远。价格不便宜，性价比一般，加上税有点贵（5%的税，一间800多人民币一晚），还不含早餐。前台的服务都非常好，这点很满意。
Twin beds are small for men.双人间（标间）的床很窄，不到1米6的女生晚上都差点掉下来，如果是男生铁定不够睡。枕头也不太舒服。WC- is mini.卫生间很小，一个洗澡，另一个没有地方洗漱。NO lift.没有电梯，楼梯很陡，带大行李上不去下不来。wifi is not good at room！

- Penthouse-Suite ganz nahe am Himmel - tolles Frühstück - freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal mit Sprachkenntnissen in Englisch und Deutsch - Möglichkeit, Essen in einem Kühlschrank des Hotels zu lagern - tolles Interiordesign im Raum der Rezeption - Informationen zum P+R-Service (1€/24h) - extra Kuscheldecken für Fröstelnde - ganz nah am wunderschlnen Vondelpark - entspannter Spaziergang von 20 Minuten bis zum Rijksmuseum - gute Anbindung durch Straßenbahn
- Zimmer zur Straße = laut - Ausstattung der Penthouse-Suite gut, aber zu wenig für ihr Geld > z.B. fehlten nach meinem Geschmack ein Schrank für das Aufbewahren von Kleidungsstücken, noch mehr Haken im Bad für Handtücher und Ablagemöglichkeit für Waschtaschen

I am already planning my return visit. The location was ideal for exploring the city on foot. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful, and the room was small, but scrupulously clean and comfortable, with impressive attention to the details that make such a difference. I loved the convenience of the honesty bar. I also really appreciated the fact that it didn't have any of the anonymity, uniformity of a chain.
The stairs, as in most small Dutch hotels, are a little daunting, but the staff were instantly helpful with hauling the baggage. So, not a problem.

El hotel tiene mucho encanto, con la planta baja común muy acogedora y el personal no puede ser más amable. La habitación single es pequeña pero suficiente, con una gran ventana y la cama era muy cómoda. La localización estupenda y el desayuno muy completo
La única pega que encuentro es que el cuarto de baño era muy pequeño y se inundaba con la ducha.

Ein Minizimmer, aber super eingerichtet, lustig, modern, trendy - auf kleinstem Platz alles, was man braucht.
Hatte ein Zimmer zur Straße. Selbst mit Isolierfenster und Ohrenstöpsel war es so laut, dass ich leider trotz toller Matratze nicht wirklich gut geschlafen habe.

The homeliness of the lady who welcomed me on arrival.
The stair climb to the second floor and the quietness of the gentleman working at breakfast. It would have been nice to be shown to a table and informed of the breakfast procedure immediately rather than waiting in silence for a long time.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is located on the #2 tram line, easy to get to the center of Amsterdam and the major museums. Hotel is close to a beautiful park.
Pillows were really uncomfortable, made it hard to sleep.

Die Lage direkt am Vodelpark ist super, gerade für unseren Aufenthalt mit Hund. Man hat es nicht weit zum Museumplain und ins Stadtzentrum, alles lässt sich gut zu Fuß erreichen (für die lauffaulen fährt aber auch eine Straßenbahn). Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit, sie geben tolle Auskünfte und Tipps für den Ausflug durch die Stadt.
