About Hotel van Beelen

Located only 100 metres from the beach and Katwijk's city centre, Hotel van Beelen offers hotel rooms and studios with hotel service, free parking card and free WiFi. A supermarket is located at 200 metres from the accommodation. All accommodations have a private bathroom. The studios have an extra kitchenette so you can cook your own meals. Start each morning with a breakfast buffet. For early birds, breakfast can be served as from 05:00 in the morning. Several restaurants can be found within 400 metres from the accommodation. Guests of the hotel will receive several discount vouchers for restaurants in the surroundings of Hotel van Beelen. If you feel like visiting the surroundings, Leiden and the spring garden Keukenhof are a 20-minute drive away. On Fridays, a market can be found at a 1 km distance.

Please note that for reservations of 6 or more rooms, different policies may apply. The hotel will contact the guests after making the reservation. Please note that smoking is only possible on the partly covered inner court. You can also book a room with a balcony and smoke there. Please note that children and babies can only stay in existing beds as long as the maximum amount of guests per room does not exceeds 2 people. For children and babies, the same rates apply as for adults. The hotel offers free parking cards so that you can park your car at Boulevard Zeezijde or Princehaven parking garage. Please note that a deposit of EUR 50 has to be paid for this service in cash, which you will get back at the end of your stay. The reception is open until 18:00. Guests arriving after 18:00 are kindly requested to inform the hotel of their estimated arrival time. Goed en uitgebreid ontbijt. Goede bedden. Nette kamers, goed schoon, nieuwe badkamer.
Uitchecken moest voor 10.00u, was wat aan de vroege kant. Hotel bevindt zich in drie verbouwde woonhuizen, waardoor er smalle gangen en trappen waren.

Ontbijt was zeer goed verzorgd, ruime keuze en buffet wordt goed bijgevuld. Kamer was zeer schoon en fantastische bedden.
Niets! de redelijke smalle trap opgang was van te voren bekend. Wel zou ik zo veel als mogelijk rekening houden met de leeftijd van de gasten bij de kamer verdeling.

Het ontbijt was goed, vers gezette lekkere koffie, geen apparaat, kamers heel erg schoon. Centraal gelegen. Alles is compleet, er wordt over alles nagedacht, zelfs om je schoenen te poetsen. Folders over de omgeving.. heel erg tevreden.
Het ontbijt is tot 10.00 uur...mag wel een half uur langer..

Het ontbijt was lekker en goed verzorgd. Heerlijk dicht bij zee. Gratis parkeren.
Vind het niet echt de naam hotel waard, maar alleen een B&B. Vind de prijs wel hoog. Vroeg uitchecken. Erg gehorige kamer. Hoorde de bovenburen steeds lopen en douche, wc doortrekken etc

Reichhaltiges Frühstücksbüffet mit täglich variirendem frischen Obst; Nig. Thank you to Bianca, the one who's responsible for the breakfast. Unsere Studio, mit Küchenzeile, war in der 2. Etage mit bequemen Betten. wenns dann mal regnet, sind genügend Schirme im Hotel vorhanden :-)
Typisch in älteren holländischen Häusern: enge & steile Treppen. Hier super: Stabiler Handlauf an den Wänden für einen sicheren Treppauf und Treppabstieg.

Das Hotel van Beelen hat eine sehr gute Lage und sehr freundliches Personal. Mein Sohn und ich haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Eine liegengelassene Jacke wurde uns kostenlos nach Hause gesandt. Vielen Dank dafür noch mal. Das Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen. Das Frühstück war sehr umfangreich und sehr gut.

Sehr nettes und aufmerksames Personal, immer freundlich und hilfbereit, angefangen beim Empfang über die Damen beim Frühstück bis zum Zimmerservice. Umfangreiches Frühstück. Lage ist Ideal, Weg zum Strand ca. 200m. Sehr persönlicher Empfang. Gute Lösung des Parkplatzproblems so dicht am Strand (kostenloses Parken in einem Parkhaus in der Nähe). Betten wirkten für unseren Geschmack im ersten Moment etwas weich, aber man schläft sehr gut.
Zimmer zur Strasse sind bei geöffnetem Fenster (warmer Spätsommer) nachts etwas laut.
