About Hotel Viento del Norte

This rustic hotel is located in Porto de Espasante within the Ortigueira region of the Galician Rías Altas. This seaside town is set between Cabo Ortegal and Estaca de Vares and forms a little peninsula that extends out into the Atlantic. The comfortable rooms have en suite bathrooms and some of them have views of the sea and the terrace. The location of this hotel is little known and is popularly referred to as the “secret region”. Point de chute très bien pour visiter la côte.

Un accueil très chaleureux. A la réception, on nous a indiqué des endroits magnifiques à voir. La salle pour déjeuner est superbe, et le buffet d´une très grande varieté et de haute qualité. EXCELLENT !!!!!!!!
Fin septembre,il est assez difficile de trouver où manger. La wifi passe très difficilement dans les chambres.

La conexión WiFi no me pareció buena ya que no me permitía ver el Yomvy. La ducha un poquitín pequeña.

Location. Excellent base to explore local area, 15 minutes easy walk from Feve stop. Continental breakfast was decent compared to the usually somewhat meagre offerings in this part of the world.
The shower. All singing and dancing in terms of gadgets, but just too small to stand up in if you're 6ft tall. Plenty of room in bathroom for it to be taller, so cannot understand why anyone would install a shower of this kind.

La atención dedicada de Laura, la propietaria. Es como si fueses huésped en su propia casa; sensación a la que contibuyen el resto del personal, Pili y la chica de los desyunos. Riquísimos, variados y abundantes incluidos en el precio de la habitación.
Estar solamente 4 noches!!! Me hubiese quedado muchos más. Las personas hacen los sitios.

El hotel totalmente renovado, habitación muy confortable y decorada con mucho gusto, bañera de hidromasaje estupenda. El desayuno bueno y abundante, con zumo natural, café de cafetera recién hecho, pan gallego bueniissiimo.
Todo perfecto, aparcamos sin problemas.

La suite del tercer piso es excelente, la terraza amueblada con vistas a la playa con buen tiempo debe de ser un lujo, el disponer de sala anexa con sofá y otra televisión, el minibar, el desayuno que entraba en el precio de la habitación fue decente aunque algunas personas podrán considerarlo limitado, el trato de todo el personal muy amable, simpático y cercano con detalles como subir agua a la habitación, el disponer de ascensor es muy importante para personas con problemas físicos como en nuestro caso, el tener llave con cierre interior en vez de la engorrosa y poco segura tarjeta, la playa ubicada a poquísimos metros; de volver a esta zona tenemos claro que dormiremos en este hotel
Por decir algo el tener separado el parking, aunque en nuestro caso lo dejamos delante del hotel por haber sitio suficiente y ser un lugar muy tranquilo en esta fecha

Todo extraordinario. El personal encantador y super amable (Lucia y Lu, con quienes tratamos, maravillosas); la habitación perfecta (sin vistas); el desayuno completísimo y riquísimo (tipo bufete); yo me quedo, sobre todo, con el pan tostado y el queso, ambos gallegos. Y la ubicación del hotel y su pueblo, es perfecta para recorrer las Rias Altas.

Especiamente Lucía, nos facilitó toda la información necesaria para poder recorrer los preciosos rincones de la comarca , desde el Banco más bonito del mundo hasta el cabo de Ortegal y los pueblos de O Barqueiro y Cariño hasta Viveiro.La habitación muy confortable con su bañera de hidromasaje y los desayunos muy completos.
No conseguimos ver al cerdito de Espasante , nos tuvimos que conformar con la reproducción que hay en la Plaza de San Antón.
