Hotel Washington is situated in an early 20th-century house, 300 metres from Museum Square. It offers typical Amsterdam styled rooms and has a charming backyard garden. Bicycle rental is available. Hotel Washington benefits from rooms with a work desk and cable TV. Each room also has private or shared bathroom facilities with a hairdryer. Some rooms overlook the garden terrace. The hotel offers an optional continental breakfast buffet every morning. For dinner, the direct area of Washington Hotel is rich of a wide range of restaurants. Washington Hotel is a 10-minute ride by tram from Leidseplein. The famous Albert Cuyp street market is around the corner. The Kalverstraat shopping area is 2 km away from the hotel. Gemütliches, preiswertes Hotel mit kleinen Schwächen

Sehr gute, ruhige Lage, man ist schnell zu Fuß an den Museen und im Zentrum. Gemütliche Zimmer, leckeres Frühstück und Cafés und Restaurants in der Nähe.
Der ganze Teppich war extrem fleckig, da mochte man schon mit Socken kaum drauftreten... Außerdem funktionierten der Föhn und eine Lampe nicht immer reibungslos. Sehr steile schmale Treppen, für uns kein Problem aber wichtig zu wissen.

-clean -nice staff -good budget price -location in 4min walking distance to large supermarket (called "albert heijn")
-stairs that are worrying to walk down (take it slow) -part of a tree branch sticking out my window -breakfast not a lot of choice (in terms of hot food) and expensive (Coffee shop next to the hotel 'corner bakery' is better)

Proche de la station 16. Cartier calme de bon petit restaurant à côté.
alors après un court passage en début d'année ayant trouver sympa le coin je suis réparties pour 2 nouvelles nuits.mais alors qu'elle désastre. j'ai payé 10 euros parce que je suis arrivée après minuit.alors que j'ai les avait prévenue d'une arrivé tardive de ma part ou il mon répondu pas de problème. il mon changer de chambre et mon mis dans un taudis au 4 ème étages. pas de toilette ni de douche une douche à partager avec tous l'étage et de plus fonctionne très mal et surtout insalubre.j'ai réservé 4 semaines avant pourtant.le balcon remplie de clope et de canette de bierre...150 euros la nuit sans petit déjeuner !!! conseil éviter à tout prix cette hôtel y a bien mieux pour moins cher.

Don't Expect Anything Too Great.

Not too far from activities. The staff were helpful when needed.
The stairs were a nightmare to climb, there was no lift. How people could manage going further than the 1st floor with luggage is beyond me? The place could do with a major revamp, it looked old and creaky. The safe in my room kept playing up, so I had to get a key instead of entering a code. The room was tiny and basic.

Good location.Spacious room.
Staff made no effort to be helpful, eg to describe nearby attractions or when I left,to reveal that the airport bus was close by. The room ran out of tissues and bodywash. Dictatorial rules about (not) having visitors in your room. Precipitous (dangerous) stairs. Not value for money.

Very lovely cosy room in a great location.
Wifi charge was per 24hrs, charging for wifi is outdated when so many coffee shops, restaurants and other places offer free wifi.

Tram 16 halt less than 2 minute walk.
For the price.....nothing. I had a basement room. The stairs were steep and narrow which maybe difficult for less able.

Locatie is uitstekend in oud zuid om de hoek van concertgebouw en musea. Kwam er rond 18 uur aan op een zaterdag. Toen nog voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Je kunt er (eenvoudige) fietsen huren.
Kleine enigszins gedateerde maar wel schone kamer helemaal boven in pand naast hoofdpand alleen bereikbaar via trap. Dronken persoon voor hotel midden in de nacht in deze doorgaans ongetwijfeld rustige straat zorgde voor wat minder nachtrust en wat minder veiligheidsgevoel. Vond het best prijzig voor hetgeen er geboden werd.

Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Ordningsamt och rent. Bra område att bo i.
Många och branta trappor upp till rummet. Inget för den som har svårt att gå. Lite dyrt 2 stjärnigt hotell.

Очень шумно по ночам, посетители отеля целую ночь по окнами номера разговаривают и распивают спиртные напитки. Очень маленькие номера, около 6 м2 вместе с ванной. Отсутствие звукоизоляции через дверь все слышно. Звук вентилятора в ванной очень шумный. Свет в комнате очень тусклый, читать вечером невозможно. Нет русского канала ТВ.

L'hotel è perfettamente collegato con il resto della città, le stanze grandi abbastanza e i letti comodissimi. Il bagno un po troppo piccolo e con il water attaccato alla porta. Nel complesso il soggiorno è stato ottimo
La colazione è molto costosa mentre il Wi-Fi, sebbene a pagamento, è molto più accessibile come prezzo. Il bagno era un po troppo piccolo e il water davanti alla porta era abbastanza scomodo.
