Kahvaltı güzel, hatta bir gün misafirlerimiz geldiğinde kahvaltının otelin ikramı olduğunu söylediler, memnun olduk. Tarihi mekan, merkezi noktada, saray gibi bina.
Akşam üzeri nehir manzarasında Cafe kısmında birer çay içelim dedik ama bir türlü gölge alan bulamadık. Güneş şemsiyeleri yeterli değil.

The location of this hotel is a little far from the main areas. There aren't many restaurants or shops around it. It is on the Amstel which is beautiful but farther from the main attractions.

餐厅吃午餐的时候，有个女服务员可能最近和亚裔人有矛盾了，点餐也没仔细问我牛扒几成熟，配啥酱，牛扒煎到- 糊，没有酱端上桌，巨难吃，136欧的一餐被毁的很惨，本来酒店就属于性价比不高，体验一下就算了

Niet goed, inchecken moeizaam,daarna wat drinken in wat een oranjerie lijkt, heel warm binnen.Gevraagd of ik de enige was die het daar warm vond, dat bleek niet zo: iedereen had het daar warm, dus een deur werd opengezet vanwege geen airco.Kamers dik in orde, bar s'avonds, gezellig, bediening in bar dik ok.Zondag wat gegeten in restaurant beneden, sandwich zwartgeblakerd, werd wel een nieuwe geserveerd voor mijn zoon maar toen was ik al klaar met eten. uitchecken bij niet vriendelijke man, Het lijkt erop dat goede mensen moeilijk te kindszijn in Amsterdam.Volgende keer in Amsterdam maar ergens anders naartoe!

Lovely city, comfortable hotel but watch the mooring up!

The room and facilities were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Overall the hotel had great charm and a warm and attractive decoration.
We arrived by boat ( an advertised option) but there was no staff who could tell us where we could moor. Having made our way to reception, not obvious or easy from the waterfront, the receptionist said we could moor anywhere on the waterfront. However, just as we were finishing off the roping up, a very disgruntled member of the restaurant staff came out to tell us that we couldn't moor there and would have to move! Not a particularly pleasant arrival at such a prestigious hotel!
