About Lanseria Country Estate

Lanseria Country Estate offers country-style accommodation and is located 6 km from Lanseria International Airport. It features a terrace overlooking the dam and garden, an outdoor swimming pool and barbecue facilities. Comfortable large bed with a small kitchenette that provided everything we needed.Very close to Lanseria Airport and they offer flyfishing in the dam on the premises and speaking to the staff they should be opening a restaurant in the near future too. Good breakfast. Friendly staff

No bath but that didn't worry me as I prefer to shower

The signs are very bad, can'

The signs are very bad, can't see it in the dark. The road to the Lodge is not very nice, you become a bit anxious while travelling as it seems you are going into the bushes instead of a nice lodge. The bed is very good and the place is clean but the pictures look much more than what you get there.

A getaway from the hustle of the city with the beautiful nature will be a long cherished memory. Room was nice, clean, comfortable and the front desk ladies ( Pleasure & Mandi) were really courteous and helpful. A must be place to be with nature.

Another day stay would have been better. Couldn't get enough of this place in 1 night.

The toilet seat in the room needs to be looked at as it leaks from time to time. Cutlery wiping needs to improve a bit more.

Extremely good value for money, perfect for a quick getaway out of the city (30 mins from JHB)

Was perfect for what we needed, the family room was very spacious and loved that the kids had a separate TV and room that didn't have to share with the adults. Big kitchen, with all the cutlery and crockery, big bed and plenty of cupboards. The staff even supplied a cot-bed for little baby. Extremely good value for money, everything was so neat and clean and even though it was just a quick stop for us, it felt to me that we had a fun weekend away. The staff was very friendly and swimming at sunset was beautiful, my son absolutely loved it. The manager and her family was at the pool and it was so nice to chat to them, they were super helpful and friendly. They organised dinner for us in the area when we arrived a bit unorganised without anything to eat. Next time I would book a room on the deck, it has fabulous views.

More TV channels for the kids, even a small selection of movies would have been great. Tiles in the shower with a shower curtain, water was all over the floor, was a bit slippery and dangerous, but luckily there were sufficient towels to dry up the floor.

It is safe. Sufficient parking space. Roomy. Very clean. Attentative staff.

The signage on the main road can be more prominent. I struggled to find the place in the dark. The place is however marked on Google Maps.

That there was no little shop to buy ice etc A nice little pub would have been nice so that you had someplace to have a few drinks outside of the room.
