About Leidsesquare Luxury Apartment Suites

Centrally located in one of Amsterdam’s most popular areas, the 2-bedroom suites are over 90 m² in size. All famous attractions, shopping streets and nightlife are within walking distance. This former police station, dating back to 1900, now offers 5 tasteful and cosy suites. Each of the suites at Leidsesquare Luxury Apartment Suites has a spacious living room, open kitchen and lavish bathroom. With an ideal location on the Leidse Square (Leidseplein), the self-catering Leidsesquare Luxury Suites offer quality, comfort, and stunning views.

Please note that the accommodation has no reception. You can check-in and collect your keys at the Short Stay Group check-in desk at Schiphol Airport or at their office in Amsterdam centre at Herengracht 451. Please note that additional costs may apply when you check-in/out outside of the given times. The hotelier will contact the guests after booking with detailed check-in information and contact details. Please note that if you settle the pre-payment with your credit card, the credit card holder needs to be present at check in to sign for this payment. Guests need a valid credit card upon check-in for an authorization of 300 EUR per apartment as a security deposit to cover potential damage and disturbance. The deposit will be refunded within a maximum of 14 days after departure on the condition that no damage and disturbance has occurred. Please note that the elevator is located on the first floor. There are stairs from the ground floor to the first floor. Due to the location of the suites and the nature of Amsterdam's vibrant nightlife there is an increased level of noise from the surrounding area. Please note that guests are kindly asked not to cause any disturbances for the neighbourhood. It must be silent after 23:00. Noise disturbance / drug abuse on the premises can not be tolerated and may result in penalty charges or immediate eviction from the apartment without reimbursement of paid accommodation fees. Please note that an extra bed (baby cot) is subject to availability and can be placed in the room upon request. Please inform Leidsesquare Luxury Apartment Suites in advance of your expected arrival time. The best in town!

Our stay at the penthouse was amazing! 100% would go again. A hotspot for street shows if you are into them. (Some of the are amazing but might get noisy at night a bit) If you are looking forward to use the hot tub then ask the help desk on how to operate it first. There are 2 wireless networks one of them is slow and the other is fast so make sure your device can connect to a 5Ghz network for a better internet connection. Everything is near by from super markets to pharmacies.
The place was noisy (Trams - bars - restaurants - clubs - street shows) but I didn't have any problem sleeping at night. The A/C was on a timer and it shuts down every now and then, and the remote was not working. Though the staff would 100% help you with this if you call them but we didn't really need it anyways.

La ubicación es muy buena la zona tiene mucha vida nocturna, los jóvenes se quedan festejando en la plaza hasta las madrugada, siempre
El departamento no tiene recepción y primero hay que subir un piso por escalera muy inclinada estilo Amsterdam hasta llegar al departamento. Ese trayecto esta realmente sucio muy sucio y mal oliente. Una verguenza.

Der backofen, wir wollten zusammen lasange essen, dan bemerkten wir das wir kein backofen haben dafür ünötigerweise 2 mikrowellen. Die sicherungsgruppe des vorraums flog auch immer wider raus wen wir das licht einschalteten. Ich befürchte das der voraum zuviell strom zieht so das die sicherung immer wider rausfligt, da auch beide bäder an der gleichen sicherunggruppe angehängt ist. Ich würde ihnen empfehlen das überprüfen zu lassen und bedanke mich für die gastfreündlichkeit. Mit Freundlichen Grüssen Kevin Heinen Montage-elektriker EFZ in ausbildung.

Idéalement situé mais bruyant.

Appartement très bien situé et assez grand. En plein centre avec tram sur la place. Bien équipé avec tout le confort. Nous étions 6 personnes très à l'aise.
Les points négatifs : les 35 marches d'escalier à grimper pour rejoindre l'ascenseur. Et le bruit : c'est la fête toutes les nuits jusqu'à 5 heures du matin sur la place Leidseplein. Très fatigant pour les 2 personnes qui dorment sur le convertible du salon.Pour les 4 autres personnes pas de problème dans les 2 chambres sur cour.

The location. Right at the square accessible easily by tram and the multi cuisine restaurants. Rooms are really spacious with wardrobe and very comfy bed. Bath as well very good. Kitchen is well equipped with everything required. Overall an amazing apartment.
The disadvantages are the 33 narrow steps up to 1st floor. Especially with lagguage makes its really difficult. Weekend party noise is another drawback as this apartment located at heart of the pub area. It wasn't so bad but Friday & Saturday night the music was ON till early morning 3am!!!

Great family size apartment in Amsterdam

The location was fantastic. The apartment is in an 1901 Police Building, is spacious, has a full kitchen, spacious bathroom with shower and nice deep bath and has a lovely view on to Leidseplein. Leidseplein (Leidse Square) is a hub of activity, has 3 tram routes and a taxi stand (always cabs available even when the trams have stopped running) and is walking distance from many key attractions such as the Rijksmuseum and VanGogh museum, canals in every direction etc.
It is situated above a coffee shop so there are some fumes in the stairwell but not the apartment. There is also some noise at night but as the bedrooms are at the back and the windows double glazed it is ok Though there is a lift from the first to the second floor, there are 25 stairs to climb up first.

Everything. We stayed at the royal suite and everything was perfect. The building is located on the square which provides great access to lots of places.
minor issue with construction work outside the building which was annoying at morning time.

Just an OK place

it was very close to lots of museums etc. the staff was the best ever!! they were very helpful and so sweet.
they were painting the outside of the place and it was very dirty and dusty in the building. The furniture and bedding needed updating. the carpeting was dirty and coming up in places. there was techno music that played so very loudly at night from 10 until about 3 am. there was a floor fan that we used to deafen the noise from the music.
