About Mercure Hotel Amsterdam West

This property is a 5-minutes walk from a small lake with a beach in natural park De Oeverlanden. Mercure Hotel Amsterdam West is a 15 minute drive from Amsterdam city centre, and a 10 minute drive from Amsterdam Zuid. Schiphol International Airport is a 10 minute drive from the hotel and shuttle services are available upon request from 06.00 till 23.45. When on the A4 highway, take exit 1-Sloten and from there Mercure Hotel Amsterdam West is a 4 minute drive. Parking is available on site (surcharge). Rooms are practically furnished and include comfortable beds, a TV, minibar and desk. All bathrooms feature a shower. The on-site restaurant serves international dishes for lunch and diner. In the summertime, guests can enjoy the terrace with garden views.

Please note that the airport shuttle service is available for a surcharge during fixed times: - 06:00 until 12:00 - 17:00 until 23:45. During the afternoon between 12:00 and 17:00 the shuttle is available upon request. Please note that from June 2016, charges may apply for the shuttle service. Please note that guests are required to show the credit card which has been used to make the booking, upon arrival. If this is not possible, guests should have an authorization form, signed by the credit card holder if he/she is not travelling along.

Übers Wochenende in Amsterdam

Frühstück sehr lecker und am Wochenende sogar bis 12 Uhr. Gratis Getränk an der Rezeption und gratis Nespresso Maschine in der Empfangshalle. Im Zimmer Wasserkocher mit Tee. Betten sehr komfortabel. Ins Hotel mit dem roten Airport Express Bus 197 von Plattform B9 vom Flughafen aus sehr gut erreichbar, es ist die 7. Station Anderlechtlaan. Richten Sie sich einfach nach der BP Tankstelle, dann finden Sie leicht hin. Von der nächsten Station Amstelveenseweg aus fährt auch eine Straßenbahn, Metro, Zug und weitere Busse in die Stadt. Wir hatten ein Amsterdam Travel Ticket, jedoch die grün gelben Privatbusse der Connexxion sind darin nicht enthalten. Von der Hotelhaltestelle aus kommt man ebenfalls mit Bus 197 in die Stadt, letzte Haltestelle Elandsgracht dann zu Fuß in die Stadtmitte. Der Bus fährt auch in der Nacht, heißt dann N97. Mit Rad würde ich Touris nicht empfehlen, zu gefährlich.
Wir waren positiv überrascht, es gab nichts negatives. Der Shuttlebus zum Flughafen fährt nur an bestimmten Zeiten, aber das wussten wir vorher.

WARNING REFURBISHMENT WORK BEING CARRIED OUT

The Bed was very comfy.
I was not told that the hotel is being refurbished. At 5pm I got back to the hotel to the noise of a hammer drill - the noise was so loud I left the hotel. I asked at front desk what time that is going to start in the morning and was told 10am. Which was fine with me. At 7:40am the next morning the works started again! Very unhappy when I had a 7 hour drive ahead of me. Misleading booking.

Struttura elegante, pulita e confortevole. Rapporto qualità /prezzo buona. L' Hotel non è vicinissimo al centro ma, con il bus che passa vicino la struttura, si raggiunge Amsterdam in una ventina di minuti. Staff gentilissimo, professionale e disponibile a fornire qualsiasi informazione.

Klasse Hotel für einen City-Trip nach Amsterdam. Bushaltestelle in der Nähe. Busse fahren im 15 Min. Takt in die City und bis spät abends in Richtung Hotel. Infos dazu gibt es im Hotel.

Para turistas está muy lejos del centro, hay que tomar un bus que está a 10 minutos a pie del hotel.

Hotel ist gut gelegen, alle Erwartungen hinsichtlich Unterkunft, Essen und Service wurden erfüllt
Das Zimmer war ab 14:00 Uhr gebucht. Als wir 13:45 Uhr ankamen, wurde und mitgeteilt, dass es noch ca. bis 14:30 Uhr dauern würde. Schließlich bekamen wir gegen 15:15 Uhr die Keycards ????

Excellent location but check shuttle service prior travelling

Very good hotel room and friendly staff . Bus 197 brings you to the centre of Amsterdam.
Easy to get from the airport by shuttle only we were not aware that between 13.00 and 17.00 hrs there is no service without requesting this and we arrived in the afternoon and had to take a taxi for €22.

I enjoyed my stay Mercure with a calm location little away from the city.

Room was good. I liked the breakfast. Garden was really good but I think you can make the garden better.
Staff/service can be improved more. I missed my breakfast because they didn't tell me about the different breakfast timings on weekends and weekdays. Similarly I missed shuttle to airport while waiting in the lobby.

Das Personal war sehr nett und super hilfsbereit. Das Hotel hat eine schöne Ausstattung. Die Bushaltestelle in Richtung Zentrum befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe.
Die Nachttische und der Schreibtisch im Zimmer waren etwas staubig, was sehr schade war, denn das Zimmer ist nicht so riesig, sodass man eigentlich keinen Staub erwarten würde.

Hotel pulito, staff gentile, stanze spaziose, cibo abbastanza buono, bencollegato anche se prendi pratica dopo il 3 giorno.
Hotel abbastanza distante dal centro... Fermata del bus a 5 minuti apiedi. Non mi è piaciuto il fatto che su Booking dice che la navetta ègratuità mentre ci hanno addebitato il costo a fine soggiorno. Prezzodella cena (2 panini con hamburger) e una bottiglia d acqua 45€,esageratissimo, meglio mangiare in centro! Per il resto tutto ok!

Im sure they were, but we could not afford the breakfast. Didn't spend too much time in the hotel, we were comfy when we did.
Breakfast could hav been much cheaper or at least more option on the type of breakfast. .. cheaper option?
