NH Museum Quarter is located a 7-minute walk from both the Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum, housed on the Museum Square. The hotel offers a 24-hour room service and on-site fitness facilities. La habitación fantástica, muy amplia, en esquina, con mucha luz y vistas para el canal.
El canal está en obras y parece que para bastante tiempo, pues están haciendo un parking por debajo del canal.

We stayed in the best room with a great view over Amsterdam.
The reception area was filthy and positively stank. There was a particularly iritating person that assisted us with check in that I found to be patronising and out of touch.

Shall come back to the hotel again.

Large Room. Short walk to the museums and Concertgebouw. Secured car park under different management right under the hotel.
The hotel corridor had a damp smell but the room was pleasantly free of it. I am sure if they can keep the room clean and dry, they can improve the corridor too. The car park did not have a passenger lift.

Goed ontbijt, uitstekende service en prima locatie dicht bij Museumplein en het Rijksmuseum, de Pijp en de Albert Kuyp en dicht bij tram halte 16 richting Centraal Station
Kamers zijn prima, maar heb voor dat geld wel betere kamers gehad. Er is geen parkeerplek aanwezig van het hotel, dagkaart parkeergarage kost 40 euro. Maar dat is voor een grote stad misschien ook wel te verwachten.

Maratón de Ámsterdam....Genial!!

La situación del hotel para mí era genial. Teniendo en cuanta que fui para la Maratón, estaba cerca del estadio olímpico y cerca del centro, a penas 20' andando. Ámsterdam es genial, muy limpio y sus edificios perfectamente conservados. No tuve mucho tiempo para visitas, pero lo que vi era precioso. Mi única observación al respecto es que las bicicletas y las motos deberían estar más vigiladas. Me atropellaron dos de ellas en la acera, fuera de los carriles destinados a su circulación. Van para mi un poco locos. Y que conste...no tengo nada en contra de los ciclistas. Pero si les dejas que hagan lo que quieran, van a hacerlo. Es mi único punto negativo de mi estancia. Por lo demás Ámsterdam es precioso.

Главный плюс - расположение отеля. Хороший номер с плазменным телевизором, сейфом, миро-баром, чайником (о нем не значится в описании отеля). Качественные шампунь, гель для душа, мыло. Интернет ловит хорошо. В коридоре есть лёд-машина.
Две сдвинутые кровати - это не кровать размером king size. Шумоизоляции нет - слышно каждую машину, проезжающую мимо отеля. За трое суток проживания постель не сменили ни разу (просто это отель уровня 4 звёзд, причём не из дешёвых!). Уборка номера средняя (ковровое покрытие следует пылесосить!). В туалетной комнате плесень на угловых стыках с ванной. Очень громко свистит вытяжка (ночью кажется, что воют волки:-). Российских телеканалов нет.

Расположение гостиницы действительно идеальное. Сразу добавлю, что мы путешествовали вдвоем с мужем. Если вы приехали на пару дней, то все достопримечательности, которые must see и популярные рестораны must be в 5 минутной доступности. Мы ходили пешком, поэтому про транспорт сказать ничего не могу. Есть лифт, что в Амстердаме есть далеко не везде. В лобби гостинице обратите внимание на брошюрки, многие из них дают скидку на музеи и др экскурсии. Очень доброжелательный персонал. Так вышло, что мы захотели поменять категорию номера, хотя забукировали на условиях при которых это сделать было невозможно. Менеджер Sharon решила нашу проблему еще до нашего приезда. У нас был стандартный номер с видом на канал на 7 этаже (amazing view!). Стандартным было его назвать тяжело, правильнее улучшенный. Просторный, чистый, постоянная смена полотенец и новые шампуньки, гели, кремы. Несмотря на то, что гостиница с 2001 года и чувствуется некоторый налет "старины", это не создает впечатление, что ты ожидал что-то более, а получил номер с евроремонтом из затертого года. Очень комфортно было остановится там на 8 ночей. Обязательно вернемся туда снова.
Заказывали еду в номер и ужинали в ресторане в гостинице. Оба раза не впечатлили. Все свежее и хорошо приготовлено, но поели без удовольствия. В мини-баре скудный выбор сладкого и снэков. Мой муж постоянно недоедал:) Подушки пора менять. Чистые, но уже разбитые и неудобные Пыльновато, но это из-за строительства на канале. Очень дорогая парковка около гостиницы. За ночь мы отдали 40 евро
