About Novotel Maastricht

Located 2 km from the centre, this 4-star Novotel features a heated outdoor swimming pool and free Wi-Fi. It is situated only 600 metres from the A2/E25 motorway. Guests at Novotel Maastricht benefit from air-conditioned rooms with a seating area, work desk and satellite TV. Each room also has a mini bar and tea and coffee making facilities. The hotel's restaurant Bites & Bottles serves international cuisine with both set menus and à la carte dishes. The bar serves a range of light snacks in a casual setting. The hotel offers a bicycle rental and packed lunch service for guests wanting to explore the local area. There is also a 24-hour front desk, and a free shuttle drop-off service linking to the city centre, Central Station, and the MECC conference centre. The Vrijthof is 2.8 km from the hotel.

The seasonal outdoor swimming pool is open from 01 May until 01 October each year. Please note that the shuttle service operates once every hour and can accommodate a maximum of 7 guests. The shuttle goes to MECC Maastricht and the city center of Maastricht. The shuttle is a free one-way service to the centre, guests have to arrange their own return transport by public transport or taxi (EUR 8,50 per ride). During all conferences and events at the MECC, the hotel also provides a return service. Please note that kids under 12 years old stay for free in their parents room and get free breakfast. Please note that guests are required to show the credit card which has been used to make the booking, upon arrival. If this is not possible, guests should have an authorization form, signed by the credit card holder if he/she is not travelling along.

Vlotte bereikbaarheid naar het centrum door de gratis shuttle service. Beataalbare parking van slechts 7,50€ per nacht.

Heerlijk verblijf in een mooi hotel.

De service. Ik had als verrassing voor mijn vriend geregeld dat er een taartje op onze kamer werd bezorgd. Novotel ging hier mijn idee voorbij en bracht zelfs champagne! Ook werd er direct een doosje geregeld om het taartje mee naar huis te kunnen nemen. Niets dan lof!

Quite average with nice staff but with very overpriced breakfast.

- staff was very friendly and helpful - free shuttle bus to the city centre/train station - location good for people travelling with a car, as the hotel is close to highway - parking not expensive comparing to other Maastricht hotels
- the hotel is not clean - in our room we had stains all over the carpet, the bathroom could be also cleaner - paper thin walls - once in a room you get a general feeling that the hotel is old with its finest hours long gone - breakfast - big disappointment. My expectations for hotels' breakfasts are not that high but this one was just poor and very much overpriced. The whole breakfast area was crowded (ok, not hotel's fault), dirty (loads bread crumbles on the floor) and although the staff did their best they were just under-staffed. Food wise also very poor especially in vegetables area. Additionally food choice was poor and food quality was also not great.

De kamers hadden alles wat een hotelkamer moet hebben, niks meer en niks minder. Heel degelijk dus.
De shuttle-dienst mag gerust worden uitgebreid (qua tijdschema).

Goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Zeer verzorgd ontbijt en zeker geschikt voor een gezin. Interieur prima verzorgd.
Shuttle na 18.00 uur zou fijn zijn maar deal met taxi bedrijf is zeer fatsoenlijk.

Op de de kamen was er een verstopping in het bad waardoor alle viezigheid naar boven kwam, water in de douche was niet echt warm kortom niet wat en wat je kunt verwachten van een vier sterren hotel

Super Preis-Leistungs- Verhältnis, gerade mit Kindern. Sehr gut auch der Shuttle- Service in die Stadt.
Leider kann man mit dem Shuttle nicht zurückfahren, obwohl dies ja problemlos möglich wäre.

Badkamer is heel klein, maar erg comfortabel en volledig. personeel aan receptie is erg vriendelijk.
Ontbijt was matig vers: uitgedroogde versneden appelsienen, ananas die ruim overtijd was. Platte diepvriesbroodjes. Heel erg warm in de kamer oa door half-synthetische lakens. Personeel aan ontbijt is erg gehaast en daardoor misschien wat minder aardig.

Prima hotel en restaurant, met zeer vriendelijk personeel.

Het vriendelijke personeel, de rustige kamer en het restaurant waar ik ook laat na mijn werk nog terecht kon.
De vloerbedekking in de kamer was erg vies en er zat schimmel in de douche.
