About Plus Florence

Located a 10-minute walk from Santa Maria Train Station, Plus Florence is a hostel offering rooms and dormitories with free WiFi throughout. It is 1 km from Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral. Each room and dormitory at Plus Florence features a flat-screen TV, air conditioning and a private bathroom. Guests have free use of the fitness area, and during winter they also enjoy a Turkish bath, sauna and an indoor pool. The shared area is equipped with a microwave, fridge and vending machines. Com excepção para a situação da janela, tudo o resto estaca impecável.
Janela do quarto não fechava bem, tendo em conta que a varanda do quarto era partilhada, este situação não trouxe grande conforto ao nível da segurança dos artigos quando não estávamos presentes no quarto.

La cama poco cómoda con un Delgado colchón y una almohada también delgada qye me obligó a solicitar otra y dormir con dos almohadas . Además es sin desayuno incluido y el baño solo con ducha qye salpica el suelo y moja bastante el baño

Las camas en general en el cuarto 10 estaban en pésimo pero muy muy mal estado los colchones no tanto, pero la camas tenían una U en el medio. ( adjunto foto de cómo estaba mi cama )

Very nice breakfast(7€ for buffet) and friendly staffs. Around 15 mins walk from train station with luggages. Easy to find.
We booked for single beds room, but got bunk beds instead and they cannot change the room for us.

Broken air conditioning which meant that we had to sleep with our door open and the street below was really noisy. Staff didn't seem to care much. Rooms were very basic. Luckily we only stayed one night, Very full of school trips and teens - not suitable for the older traveller! Reception was always very busy.

Staff helpful and friendly, very clean place, there's a luggage room, good location. Anddd they even give you a towel, folded neatly on your bed:)
I booked a 6 or 8 dorm bedroom, but they put me in a 4 dorm bedroom (it cost more), it was very annoying. You might have to fight with the door a little to unlock it. Tip: insert your key card in a slot near the door to turn the lights on (took us a while to figure out).

In 10 Minuten in der Markthalle, Museen, (kostenlos am ersten Sonntag im Monat) zentral. Betten bequem. Tolle Terrasse mit Ausblick. Leider nur ein Aufzug. Gebäude A ruhiger, Gebäude B (2 Aufzüge) an der 6 spurige Straße. Sehr laut. Nette Mitarbeiter!
Nur 2 Steckdosen in einem sehr kleinen 4 Bett Zimmer. Keine Ablage oder Steckdose am Bett. Keine Ablage im Bad,für die Kleidung. Schlecht gereinigte Zimmer. 2 kleine Kühlschränke fürs ganze Hostel. 22 Uhr wird die Küche abgeschlossen.

Prima hostel

De locatie was prima, op loopafstand van het station en andere bezienswaardigheden. Sowieso is alles in Florence op loopafstand. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk! Ontbijt was verder ook goed geregeld. Je kon kiezen voor het buffet voor 7 euro maar ook voor een crossaint + warme drank en dat was ongeveer 2,50 bij elkaar. Ook hebben we gebruik gemaakt van de wasmachine en die was heel schoon.
Het beddengoed bestond uit een laken en een losse deken. Die deken vond ik best onhygiënisch want ik vraag mij af of die wel eens wordt gewassen. Een dekbed + overtrek zou frisser zijn geweest. Daarnaast sliepen we naast de weg (aan de voorkant) en daar reden non-stop auto's. Ook midden in de nacht dus zonder oordoppen slapen was voor mij geen optie. Verder is de kamer al een beetje verouderd en dat maakt dat de badkamer al iets minder schoon oogt, ook al wordt die iedere dag schoongemaakt.
