Durch die dünnen Fenster sind die Zimmer recht laut/hellhörig. Man hört die Straße, in der in AMS fast 24h Betrieb ist. Zur Zeit der Reise gab es auch eine große Baustelle am Rokin, die man auch nachts hörte. Das Personal ist sehr bemüht, einem zu helfen, aber geräuschempfindliche Gäste sollten Ohrstöpsel einpacken. WLAN klappt in den oberen Stockwerken nicht.

Generell sind die Hotels in Amsterdam schlichtweg überteuert. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt einfach nicht. Das Zimmer war ohne Minibar oder Wasserkocher ausgestattet, die Möbel hatten Hostel-Charme. Das Frühstück war ok.

Não é um hotel 3 estrelas. Nossos quartos ficavam no 4º andar, mas o elevador só chegava até o 3º. Para piorar, a escada era fora do padrão de tão íngreme, e a recepcionista, a única funcionária que estava no local no final de tarde, não se dispôs a ajudar. Como estávamos com muita bagagem e meu irmão havia sido recentemente operado do joelho, foi muito difícil conseguirmos chegar aos nossos quartos. Não havia box no banheiro. Para minha surpresa, no folheto que estava no quarto, informavam que poderiam ajudar com nossa bagagem. Na saída, aconteceu a mesma coisa: quando pedimos ajuda com nossas malas, um funcionário muito mal humorado, falou que eu deveria pedir ajuda ao meu irmão! Como ocupamos 3 quartos diferentes, verificamos que são muito diferentes, mas mesmo o maior, não possuía um armário adequado para guardar roupas. Um armário era tão baixo, que era impossível pendurar uma camisa.

On m'a attribué d'abord une chambre au rdc au fond avec une fenêtre mais très sombre elle est du côté du bâtiment à côté. Le wifi n'y captait pas du tout. En insistant on a fini par me changer de chambre on m'a donné une chambre trés éclairée qui donne sur le boulevard un peu bruyante car le centre d Amsterdam est très vivant. Demandez une chambre éclairée côté rue calme.

Only thing we didn't like was that there is a night club next door and we could hear the music going until 3:30 in the morning. It was loud enough that it vibrated the windows and walls. Made it impossible to sleep!!
