Excellent rapport qualité/prix

4.80/5.0

In general a pleasant stay

Excellent location! Good layout and enough space. Very friendly staff! Furniture fairly new and looked after. In general a pleasant stay!
Very little kitchen supplies, not a single knife to cut properly. A/C Heater took a very long time to actually heat anything. Mattresses not comfortable. Could use a new bath curtain. Had to leave a credit card deposit not mentioned during booking, had not problems with it though.

The amount of thought that has gone behind this masterpiece is just stunning. And the execution is equally brilliant. Book your tickets online to avoid the lines and get there early. Make sure you pay a visit to other Gaudi structures in the city too.

It looked so surreal on approach. Inside was so unique and inspiring. I loved the "medallions" and the floating pulpit canopy. Each alcove I visited had such intricate detail.

One step in, and you'll realize that this is no ordinary church. The colors, style, impressesions, are all unique to the La Sagrada Familia. There are models and history of the church. If you have time and energy do visit one of the towers. For the extra admission, you will be taking an elevator up one of the towers of the church. You will have some pretty nice views of Barcelona. However, when going down, you will be taking a sprial staircase all the way to the ground level. It can see this being quite taxing for some folks. Overall this is one epic experience.

I highly recommend that you book your ticket 1 day in advanced as the queues for this place is just insane. All/most of your ticket price will contribute to the building of this structure. It is unknown when this structure will be finished but when it does, Gaudi (the architect) wants this building to be 1M shorter than the highest point in Barcelona.

absolutely a must for each tourist going to Barcelona. The entrance fee is 15 euros, it is better to buy the ticket trough internet. Audioguide costs 4,50 euros. In the evening you can go for free to visit the church and the grab of Gaudi.

A MUST GO in Barcelona, for obvious reasons. This is by far the most beautiful church you will see outside Italy. The architecture is incredible. I did not get to tour the tower, but I probably would pay extra to see that if I go back.

However, the visit wasn't as good as expected. The audio guide is too short, and started from the opposite entrance we were let in from, which got us really confused. It is also poorly structured and makes it really hard to understand which part of the building they're talking about. The construction work is continuing inside the Sagrada, so forget about the advertised peace and meditation, as you will be greeted with loud noises of electric saws. Getting the timing right to visit the towers was hard already, as you you need a separate booking for them, and you can't come back to the Sagrada another time if you already left it. With all that, on the day of the visit they closed the towers due to windy weather, and promised a refund (around 4 euros), but that meant we couldn't visit the towers again without doing a whole new booking to the whole of Sagrada (around 30 euros), which didn't seem fair. The place itself was breathtaking and I will try to visit it again when the works are finished. But the tourist experience was really displeasing.

We went in late afternoon and the sunlight streaming through the stained glass windows and painting the walls different colours was beautiful. There's a one star review on here complaining there was no information on the construction which isn't correct. The audioguides cover off quite a lot of the history of the various stages of the build and what's planned for the future, and there's a museum downstairs with some fascinating pictures chronicling the build over the last 120+ years.I'm normally not very interested in visiting churches etc but it was really worth the trip, and my boyfriend and I spent about 2 hours there.
