About Stayokay Amsterdam Vondelpark
Stayokay Hostel Amsterdam is located in the heart of the Vondelpark and offers a view on the green surroundings. The Van Gogh Museum is an 8-minute walk away. The accommodation includes free WiFi access throughout the whole building. The hostel offers bunk beds in shared dormitories as well as private rooms. All rooms/dorms have a bathroom and lockable cupboards. Guests can buy padlocks at the reception or bring their own. Coin operated lockers are available in the lobby at EUR 0.20 per hour or EUR 2 per 24 hours. Breakfast is available in the morning for a surcharge. At the end of a busy day, guests can relax and have a drink or snack in Brasserie Bite & Drink. The lively Leidse Square is situated a 5-minute walk away and offers plenty of bars and restaurants. Bike hire is available for a surcharge. Trams 1, 2 and 5 at Leidse Square offer direct access to Dam Square and Amsterdam Central Station. Guests can explore the surroundings by bicycle as Stayokay Vondelpark provides a rental service.Breakfast is available for EUR 6,50 per person per day. Please note that all guests must have a valid passport. Please note that the deposit for bike hire is EUR 25. Please state your gender and that of your travel companions in the Comments box when booking. You will then be allocated to the appropriate dorm. Eran 3 edificios antiguos y había mucha gente hospedandose, la habitación no tenía aire acondicionado y como era compartida con 5 personas más se volvía un horno, cobraban por todo y se formaban largas filas para el desayuno

Ótima localização e café da manhã! Bom ambiente pra socializar! Organizado, grande, prático e bonito. Staff simpático e desenrolado. Fica aberto 24 hs e o parque ao lado é lindo.
Os beliches rangem muito, a cama de cima é muito baixa, mal dá pra ficar sentada na de baixo e vc ouve a respiração da outra pessoa parecendo que ela tá colada na sua orelha. Os banheiros dentro dos quartos são práticos, mas contribuem para ainda mais barulho na hora de dormir.

Abbiamo soggiornato in una stanza privata. la camera era molto bella e con ricezione wifi. solo la tv mancava, tutto il resto era ok. letto comodo, servizi perfettamente funzionanti, riscaldamento a calorifero autogestibile. L'ostello funzionava con accessi tramite la carta magnetica fornitaci. Tutto bello e colorato e efficiente. Possibilità di tenere i bagagli dopo il check-out, a pagamento (2 euro tutto il dì) con sportelli elettronici. Colazione dolce e salata a disposizione in una bella sala colazioni. Bar disponibile come il noleggio bici. Staff preparato e simpatico. Tutto efficiente. consigliato.

Das Familienzimmer war geräumig, das Frühstück reichhaltig und lecker. Die Brötchen super frisch und die Auswahl an Aufschnitt sehr gut. Die Lage des Hostels ist sehr gut. Vor allem gefällt mir, das es zentral ist, die Umgebung aber nicht völlig überlaufen.
Auf der Toilette im Eingangsbereich war kein Klopapier (auf einer Toilette). Ist eine Kleinigkeit und trotzdem einfach unnötig.

The location cannot be more perfect since it's next to Vondelpark. Leidseplein is five minutes away, so is the restaurants, shops and tram stops that can take you to explore Amsterdam.
I think they need to work on the wifi access especially if you're staying on the 4th floor, the connection got hazy sometimes.

The location was really excellent, a great base to walk to all the things we wanted to do without being right in the middle of the madness. Having the park and the museums so close by was great. The private rooms of four we had were really clean and basic as you'd expect. The shower was powerful and lots of hot water. Bedding was also really comfortable which makes a big difference - nice pillows and douvets. Breakfast was a good continental selection.
The wifi could have been a bit more powerful, in certain areas it didnt work either properly or at all. There was a really big queue for breakfast because the buffet area was small compared to the amount of people waiting.

Ambiente tranquilo, bom para quem não gosta da bagunça que grande parte dos hostels tem. Localizado em uma rua muito calma, em frente ao parque Voldenpark.
Fiquei em um quarto com 12 camas mas só haviam 2 banheiros com chuveiro e 1 somente com vaso sanitário. Também achei o isolamento acústico bem ruim: conseguia ouvir todo mundo andando no andar de cima e portas dos outras quartos batendo.
