Stayokay Soest is an HI-hostel in the heart of the Netherlands, nearby Amersfoort. Among woods and dunes and yet easy to reach. The perfect place for a few days of walking, cycling, swimming, visiting palaces and museums, maybe a visit to the city: Stayokay Soest is the ideal home base for enjoying nature and culture. Stayokay Soest offers plenty of comfort. The rooms are housed in a separate wing and all feature private sanitary facilities. The main hall is the place to meet fellow guests for sharing stories about your adventures or relax in the bar and restaurant, enjoy the reading table or kick back in the TV room. Outside Stayokay Soest has a number of sports and playing fields, a picnic area and camp fire place. The hostel has different sports and games equipment.A packed lunch is available for EUR 8,25 per person per day. Please note that all guests must have a valid passport. Please note when booking a Double/Twin Room, it is possible that you will be staying in a 4 to 6 bed dorm. The remaining (bunk) beds will not be available for other guests. Please note that the beds are not made, but bed linen will be provided and guests are required to make their own bed upon arrival. Towels are available at a surcharge. Please note that Stayokay and Hostelling International members do not receive discounts when booking this accommodation. Free Wi-Fi is available. When travelling with children younger than 13 years old, it is required to book a private room. Please inform the property in case children are coming along by using the special request box. Immerso nella natura, è un ostello perfetto per chi cerca la tranquillità ma comunque anche una buona posizione per visitare alcune città e musei! Se interessa a pochi chilometri c'è il National Militar Museum. Belli gli spazi in comune, anche quelli esterni e diverse possibilità di gioco per i bambini. Buona la colazione e molto gentile lo staff. Parcheggio gratuito adiacente.

Durch Stau und schlechtes Wetter kamen wir erst verspätet an. Die Küche war offiziell schon zu. Aber meine Kinder (2+5Jahre) hatten Hunger und so hat uns der Küchenchef trotzdem eine Kleinigkeit zubereitet. Das war super!!!!!!!!!! Sollten wir je wieder in der Gegend sein, werden wir dort bestimmt wieder übernachten.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer, das wir eigentlich reserviert hatten war gar nicht frei. Das Personal hat sich aber bemüht uns eine Notunterkunft anzubieten und ist uns dann auch mit dem Preis entgegen gekommen.
Die Zimmer und der Essbereich waren nicht sauber. Es lagen sogar in der Dusche noch Haare rum.

Ondanks dat het zomervakantie was, waren er niet heel veel kinderen. Wij hadden gedacht dat deze er meer zouden zijn, en dat er meer vermaak voor de kinderen zou zijn. Maar het is wel lekker laagdrempelig, dus ze moeten zichzelf gewoon vermaken met de middelen die er zijn.
