Fabulous contemporary space in center of village.

Everything! wonderful location right in the middle of the village yet quiet and peaceful in the evening. Loved the interior design, lots of wonderful touches like the water next to the bed and rugs in the sitting room and friendly helpful host.

Good location and fantastic shower.

4.15/5.0
The shower was up to our very high standards.
We could not find the accommodation as the directions were vague and James could not meet us to show us the free parking.

We liked everything from the position in the town, the way the house had been redesigned and the comfortable bed, to the sparkling cleanliness and the good quality cooking pans.

It truly is a Pavement Palace!!

5.00/5.0
Excellent location. High quality furnishings throughout the apartment. The apartment is located on a Main Street in Hay On Wye, with an really excellent restaurant a few minutes walk away which serves freshly cooked dishes, opposite a tapas bar! Tried both, 10/10. Antique shops & books shops galore! Bothers bookshop is a must. The landlord gives really good advice regarding places to visit. The kitchen is really well equipped. I cannot fault this apartment. It is worth every penny.
That I couldn't stay longer!

Centrally located. Everything you needed supplied. Kitchen clean had all mod cons plus utensils. Bedroom lovely. Lounge quirky but I felt at home straight away. James thought of everything and arrangements for arrival was smooth.
No bread knife.

Stylishly Quirky and very practical

5.00/5.0
What a fab place. Decorated and furnished to a high standard. The lounge area is very spacious, furnished in keeping with the the age of the building with some quirky additions. The owners clearly have a good eye for detail, even the leads to the table lamps are in keeping with the period design. The bed is large, with crisp white cotton sheets; a delight to sleep in. The fully fitted kitchen has everything you need and comes with complementary tea & quality coffee. It is in the centre of Hay, you couldnt get a better position. Access is via a gate next door to the owners retail/office . Highly recommended.

Lovely, comfortable, pleasing to the eye and right in the middle of Hay.

4.80/5.0
Everything except the bathroom. Very beautiful, relaxing, pleasing interior. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable bed and furniture.
The bathroom. The shower made the floor very wet. The loo brushes were not just retro but old, looked horrible and the bristles fell off if used.

Welcome weekend break

4.60/5.0
Liked the log-burning stove, big bed and convenient location. Quirky layout took a little getting used to but an old house in an old town was bound to be a little out-of-the-ordinary.
Didn't like the clock tower in the square that chimed every 15 minutes, day and night.
