The hotel was the cheapest one available in the city center and we were more than happy to see that the location of the hotel was perfect, the room was modern and even had a bathtub in it, and the hotel overall was very nice. I would have not expected such a nice hotel for the cheapest price!

Staff very helpful and responsive. Nice decoration but not overwhelming or too "boutique" - just as I like it. Bed comfy
Amsterdam, and especially this neighborhood is really expensive. Breakfast expensive but a good option if you're there for work.

Accommodation in Amsterdams canal belt is to expensive, all hotels are overpriced, but beware of cheaper hotels there is probably a reason why it's cheaper, pay the extra on the safe side.

Half term city break. Shame prices shot up and breakfast removed for half term!

Kleines überteuertes Hotel in zentraler Lage in Amsterdam

Man fragt sich, wieso diese Hotel 4* hat, Kleine Zimmer, keine Minibar, keine Sitzecke, kleines Bad, keinerlei Komfort. Wäre das Personal nicht freundlich gewesen, müßte man ungenügend geben.
Mir hat diese Hotel eigentlich rundum nicht gefallen.

The location was amazing. Easy to walk anywhere in Amsterdam.
Noisy and Small. I understand rooms are smaller in general in Europe, but this one was especially small. You could hear people walking up and down the stairs.

+ Location is excellent- 5 min walk from the train station and/or from the Dam square- on the quiet river side just outside of Red Light district + WiFi is fast and available in all rooms + Staff is friendly and helpful
The way too expensive for the money paid: elevator up to the 4th floor out of 5, tiny rooms, bathroom is in the wardrobe, (1,5 sq m), no minibar/refregirator in the room, overall room aprearance is quite old & outworn (on the 5th floor). Breakfast is not included in the rate

Lovely stay in a 17th Century canal house in the heart of Amsterdam

The lovely quaintness of the old canal house, the close proximity to all the popular attractions (comfortable walking distance)beautiful view of the canal from our room, friendly and knowledgable staff made our stay unforgetable.
Room and bathroom are pretty small but then who spends much time in the room?

Pouco espaço no quarto para posicionar as malas (pelo menos no quarto que ficamos). Apertado. A cama não é muito confortável.

Location is perfect - staff are awesome - area is quite - rooms are quite - luggage storage after check out is for free - view from my room was great
The carpet in my room was old and smelled - i booked a room with a single double bed the gave me two twin beds joined together

The canal view from our window was lovely. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood, yet still convenient to shops, restaurants and sights. Staff was very friendly and helpful
