Short stay at Hilversum

Nice located small hotel with all necessary services. Room was tidy, staff was friendly and everything worked as should. Despite the building being small, it has a lift which is a plus. Location is near the city center, but in a peaceful side street with nice looking residence area surrounding.
Sound proofing could be better. Noises from the yard as cars were parking near the reception door as well as some "sound of life" from the room at the same corridor were disturbing time to time. Room for 1 was a bit small.

We stayed in the two apartments and they were great, equipped with everything you need to make your stay as comfortable as possible .
The only thing was the apartments were a little bit further away from hotel than expected but it was fine as we had the two apartments between us as a family so we were still all together .

the hotel is OK but the management is very rigid and not customer friendly at all

the hotel is certainly OK for business travel. The staff is OK, but I gave the staff the lowest score, because there is no way to score management (see negative comment)
The staff is OK, but I gave them the lowest score, for a management problem because I cannot score management and the staff is clearly not empowered to make their own judgment call. I made a reservation weeks ahead of my business appointment. A few weeks ahead my meeting was postponed, hence I wanted to postpone my stay at the hotel too, but even so long ahead of time this was not possible. Hence I had to pay twice (I choose the hotel because it was perfectly located at walking distance).

Het ontbijt was goed. De kamer was heel goed.
Ik had een ruime sauna verwacht. Ik trof aan een sauna voor max 3 à 4 personen. Bovendien moest deze vooraf gereserveerd worden, waardoor ik uiteindelijk een uur moest wachten voordat ik er gebruik van kon maken.

Waterkoker op de kamer met koffie en thee voorzieningen ( lux hoor) Verder zeer gastvrij ontvangen Kamers niet super lux
tijdens ons verblijf waren de oven en koffiemachine stuk werden overigens wel al gerepareerd.

Mooie wijk
Kamer prijs-kwaliteitverhouding. Bij uitchecken om 7:15 4 man personeel staat buiten te roken terwijl ik wil uitchecken! Bedden te zacht. Lekkende douche en toilet. Tv niet alle zenders goed beeld. Parkeerplaatsen veel te krap. Kamers veel te basic voor deze prijs! Geen extra services (sauna,zonnebank..etc.)

Ontbijt was OK
Prijs-kwaliteit verhouding is ver te zoeken. Had een eenpersoonskamer met eenpersoonsbed die aan grondig onderhoud toe was (spiegel kapot, bedlampje kapot, deur naar badkamer was lam, vlekken op tapijt, extreem slechte beeldkwaliteit tv, raam kon niet volledig gesloten worden) Daarnaast was de badkamer haast groter dan de rest van de kamer. Hierbij waren 2 wasbakken aanwezig, mijns inziens volstrekte onzin voor een 1p kamer.
