Wi fi very slow. Shower cubicle had mould.Only one bath towel provided

The only thing and we really don't mean this as a complaint, was the television that was in the corner (makes it difficult to see TV in the bed) and the kettle's cord was to short we had to put it on the floor to boil the water.

Room is dark. Entrance is located just street cover. So, be careful to enter the hotel. Cars run fast on the road.

Bath dirty, no towels,changed rooms. No hot water, had to cold shower.

There was no hot water in our room till we reported it and took a while to get sorted.

The bin was not emptied from the previous occupant

The toilet in my room did not flash properly. I however brought it under the attention of the staff

I appreciate the usage of septic tanks but make sure that your caretakers close the basin and bath with that black lead every time they finish to tidy up.The foul smell when left open.

Pool was not in the best condition - green from rains (should have been dealt with, chemicals added to ensure it was crystal-blue). More chairs around pool - more comfortable, loungers and chairs are not comfortable, cushions are well-worn. No aircon in rooms - should be a MUST. Breakfast on 1st January 2016 was awful: too greasy and inedible. It was not set up and presented as per according rates charged: we felt like we were in a school dining hall (was set up in one of the venue rooms by the reception) - I literally could not eat anything more than a half-burnt mini-croissant. Bathrooms could do with a little TLC - need to be refurbished. The same goes for the rooms - decor could be upgraded, walls repainted (in more earthy tones) for eg. Room service might be a great value-added option. So much more could be done to create little pockets of entertainment\eating areas around the venue as the venue is exquisite.

We were not aware the restaurant would not be open on Monday and Tuesday which is the days we booked for. Braai facilities are advertised so we took along meat etc but were told on arrival we had to pay to use the braai. There was a wedding on the Monday night that we were told about on arrival. The music was super loud with heavy base till the early hours. The waiters were shocking. One waiter brought my two year old a babychino that was an espresso shot, another waitress didn't know what was being served and I had to get up and give her the dirty plates. Its a wedding venue, its not a hotel.

I arrived in the rain with no umbrella to assist and was not allowed to park my car next to reception because its a rule

Everything else! Our television didn't work, the shower was clogged and it wasn't clean, there were dust on the counters. I would not stay in Valverde again!
