The 4-star WestCord Art Hotel is situated on the edge of the historic centre of Amsterdam. A 15-minute walk through the Westerpark will get you to the heart of the city. Guests benefit from an outdoor swimming pool and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. Parking is available on-site. The modern rooms have air conditioning, lcd TV and a Nespresso coffee machine. All comfortable rooms have artworks above the bed and a bathroom with an extra deep bath or rain shower. Westcord Art Hotel Amsterdam includes a unique art collection of the famous Dutch painter Herman Brood. There is a terrace with a bar which overlooks the lush grounds.The ART Brasserie offers à la carte breakfast, lunch and dinner. Bikes can be rented at the hotel. The hotel is situated 1.5 km from the Westerpark, where restaurants and cultural activities can be found. Business park Westpoort is nearby. The Hempoint bus stop is located directly opposite the hotel and offer direct services to the city centre in 5 minutes. Super Aufenthalt etwas ausserhalb des Stadtzentrums

Das Zimmer war einfach super und hatte ein wirklich bequemes Bett. Auch die Ausstattung im Bad war genial. Es war schön, dass das Hotel etwas ausserhalb lag und trotzdem war man sehr schnell im Stadtzentrum.
Da es um das Hotel eine riesige Baustelle hat, ist die Bushaltestelle leider nicht in Betrieb und das war ziemlich mühsam.

Aangenaam verblijf, maar het onthaal kon wel wat hartelijker.

ontbijt (betalend), kamer uitstekend. Groot en leefbaar hotel. Zeer rustige ligging op 15 min. van het stadscentrum. Ruim hotel.
Het onthaal kon vriendelijker. De inrit van de parking kon wat minder steil waardoor mijn wagen niet met zijn onderkant zou slepen op de beton.

Will be excellent when the roadworks are finished!

Hotel was very clean and the temperature of the room 'just right'. There was little or no noise coming into the room.
The separate toilet, with no hand basin, at the opposite end of the room to the bath/shower was a pain. The head of the bed being on a different level to the rest of the bed and the same carpet covering both levels and the step down was a real tripping/fall hazard - we both fell off the step at various times during the nights we stayed. The hotel is currently in the middle of what feels like a building site with no proper pavements for quite some way along the road. My husband had a fall as he tripped on the edges of the rubber matting which were very slippery when wet and not laid evenly. Although not badly hurt it made the holiday less enjoyable as he'd pulled a muscle in his back.

We were not informed of construction taking place just in front of the hotel,the area was fenced off and the paths were replaced with black mats.S slight discount would have been good.Breakfast and lunch trays were left on the floor of the corridor all day

- Die Suiten sind echt super - Bushaltestelle vor dem Hotel - Frühstück sehr gut
- kein Raucherbereich im gesamten Hotel - die Fenster lassen sich nicht öffnen! - Der Weg von den Suiten ins Freie ist weit! - Die Hotelbeschreibung bezüglich Pool stimmt nicht. Dieser gehört nicht zum Hotel, sondern ist öffentlich zugänglich.

Very nice rooms & spotlessly clean - the hotel and the staff were both excellent and we will definitely book again for our next Amsterdam trip.
The parking in the garage had a restricted height which was a problem for us as we were looking for secure parking and ended up parking on the street. Would have been helpful if this had been mentioned in the hotel description. The lady on reception was very helpful to help us resolve the problem though :)

The room was great. I loved the bathroom, very large and modern. The bed was comfortable. Even the position was good, quiet place, well linked to the centre with two line buses. For me it was even nice to have a walk to the centre.

La cama súper comoda, armario decente con muchas perchas, la ducha amplia y maquina de café junto a la cama. Si vas para hacer turismo es el sitio ideal, retirado pero muy bien comunicado con el centro en el bus que para en la puerta, si prefieres andar es un paseo de media hora muy agradable, por el camino hay coffeshops y una buenisima oferta gastronómica.
El precio del desayuno un poco caro. Por decir algo mas, no había pasta de dientes ni mascarilla para el pelo, pero por lo demas y en general muy bien.
